#114 brings the talented Italian duo, Primal Code (@primalcodemusic), to the animix series, an act who have become known for their distinctively soulful & hypnotic interpretation of atmospheric techno.

Their recent release on @kalaharioystercult was one of my favourites of last year, a unique & modern fuse of dub techno, acid & modular sounds, resulting in a magically squelchy, deep, subterranean body of work. Before that, releases on the prolific @hypnus & @konstrukt cemented their style. This mix is a lovely continuation of that.

From the punchy 'Inlamint' to the unstoppable flow of 'Subway'. A darker twist appears on the mesmerizing 'Black Soil' finishing it off with a downtempo eyes closed delight 'Argonaut'.

Collective Process Vol. 7 & features rising techno stars Klint & Anthony Doria for a back to back release as they both drop 2 energetic & dance floor orientated, techno weapons. 

Klint delivers on slick, minimalistic tracks with ’69 Method’ & ‘Hate Mate’. Pushing the tempo as his stripped yet effective production drives his deep, high energy techno sound. On a heavier tip, Anthony Doria’s ‘One’ & ‘Two’ deliver into darker realms with pounding beats, razor sharp, syncopated synths and plenty of attitude.

This track is a great example of a classic ravy techno banger with a massive groove and a power vocal. “Let's party” was definitely made to burn the dancefloors all night long: it's ravy, groovy and bouncy - a perfect combination for a festival techno banger.

Klint returns to CLR with the ‘Kaos Temple’ EP.

French DJ and producer Klint follows up his ‘Immersive Culture’ EP on Chris Liebing’s CLR with the ‘Kaos Temple’ two-tracker. After having made his debut with the Klint project in 2021, he has made a significant impact in the Techno scene already, with an impressive list of releases on labels like Planet Rhythm, RSPX, Truncate and many more, as well as support from artists like Rodhad, Blawan, and Dave Clarke.

Klint’s ‘Kaos Temple’ on CLR boasts tumbling techno chords, building in anticipation as atmospheric sound effects dart about the mix above, subtle but sturdy rhythms guiding us through the track. ‘Dethroned’ continues, drum machines punching through as hard-hitting claps catch you off-guard. Its infectious low-end crawls below as cavernous synth melodies rear their head occasionally, making for tantalising drops perfect for mind-warping dancefloor frenzies.
