After contributing several tracks to compilations, Warnung finally releases his very first EP on Berlin based label AKRONYM, which he also co-founded. „Aerojogging“ is a collection of four extremely powerful and efficiently produced 140+ BPM techno bangers. All tracks are based on loopy and groovy patterns; a quality that predestines them to be played on the appropriate dance floors. Mathame refine their singular sound on ‘Skywalking’ and a collaboration with Tale Of Us, ‘Departure’.
Following 2018’s ‘Nothing Around Us’ single, Mathame show no sign of slowing down. Their Afterlife Recordings follow up is a dancefloor single of epic proportions, taking the duo further into a realm of their own. Tension hangs off the sliding chords and spacious arrangements. In the case of ‘Skywalking’ it reaches an uplifting, euphoric crescendo, in Tale Of Us’ intro edit of ‘Departure’ the theme goes darker and off-kilter. Bona fide anthems in the sets of Mathame and Tale Of Us.

Moments In Time welcome a host of hot talents for a new Various Artists compilation that kicks off their 2020 on a fine footing. 

Opening up the EP is label boss Rudosa, and his tune 'Dominance' which has already gained huge support from Amelie Lens, Charlotte De Witte, Richie Hawtin, and ANNA. It comes after a string of Beatport chart-toppers on labels like Suara, Noir and We Are The Brave and is another standout offering. It is a real acid monster, with hammering techno drums and warped synths barrelling along at an enthralling pace. 

Frenchman Blicz has had props from Amelie Lens, who included one of his tunes on her fabric mix, and with 'Gate 212' he lays down more of that perfectly dark, driving, no frills and uncompromising techno. 'When Angels Cry' keeps the pressure on with more streamlined acid techno grooves that are embellished with icy hi hats and rumbling bass. It comes from the Dutch outfit Hush & Sleep whose dark melodies have taken them all over the world in the last 12 months. Next, Italian pair Reform have impressed on outlets such as Etruria beat, Second State and Quartz Rec and get hands in the air with their trance land 'Holy Graal.' 

Last of all, Gijensu's 'Inferno Onleyene' is white knuckle techno with searing synth lines and hard hitting drums that take you into the next dimension.

This is edgy melodic techno with real future energy and makes a huge impact, emotionally and physically.

On catalogue number 005, Klangkuenstler orchestrates a dynamic tension between rock-hard underworld grooves and transcendental ascension, as implied by its title 'Himmelreich'.

The A1 of the same name pointedly encapsulates this age-old pull between dark and light within the wicked waltz of a punchy power-beat and a sugary, elevating synth lead: imagine the devil knocking on heaven's door. Next up, the gnarly scrap-metal fuzz, insidious pads and trademark poetic spoken-word of 'Alte Zeit' reject relief for something altogether more vicious – yet no less fulfilling.
