Reading a dancefloor is not a science, but knowing how to make the audience enjoy every minute is an art Anika Kunst puts into practice session after session. She has spent more than twenty years perfecting her intuition, technique and buildiing up a vinyl collection which oscillates between timeless techno and the most select house, making the most of the nuances that exist between said genres and all their sub-genres have to offer. Maybe you remember some of her emblematic vinyl-only ‘All Night Long’ sessions or maybe you saw her perform in London, Berlin, Brussels or during her time in Latin America. She might have made her mark on one of your idyllic summer nights in Ibiza or perhaps you heard her at a festival or an distinguishing club in Barcelona at her ‘Selectors’ night; always in constant evolution, with all possibilities still open for exploration. You may be familiar with her well-respected label, Chapter Records, founded in 2014. You may have even played or listened to one of her releases yourself, or perhaps heard some of her tracks in one of Dave Clarke’s sessions. You might have also already discovered her latest work in the studio, such as her ‘Different Approach’ EP on RSPX (Rekids Special Project) or her latest releases on Symbolism, Ben Sims' label. It is never too late to make new descoveries, those which will never be forgotten. You may not know Chapter Records or Selectors, or even Anika Kunst herself but in time and space, the devotion many of us feel for the clubbing scene streghtens our bond and binds us to each other, unyielding as we move together.

The Composers 002 is a distance trip into our podcast station, showcasing a set by Divide who's alias of Davide Maio, Italian Sound Craftsman, one of the true techno quality exponents, also known for his work as one-half of the Syntaxism duo.

The set builds up like an opera but bringing rhythms directly to danceable territories in a complex synth crescendo.

In this piece of art, you can find almost every colour in the techno sound palette, from the ambient intro, to the deeply soundscaped last tracks. In between there is an abundance of beats and synths, evolving from relentless groove spiced with FM bells and resonant bleeps and dubbed subtle synth melodies in jazzy scales.

Random sequences and tight 909 drum workout, and melodies and arpeggios over a shuffled beat, complex evolving to more aggressive sounds approach.
Harshness acts, fat drums and resonant craziness spiced with wise handled distortion, reminded us the best moments of solid nineties techno: high BPM, well cooked chords and 909.
Sequences blend with each other, giving this chaos order feeling as a powerful and unforgettable unique piece.

Alex Dolby is approaching the coveted ground of over 20 years of releasing music, seeing his high pedigree of production land on labels ranging from Global Underground, John Digweed’s Bedrock, to Emmanuel’s ARTS, Developer’s Modularz, New York’s Teksupport and Marco Bailey’s MB Elektronics amongst others. 
Development and experimentation are the main influences in his sound, as Alex has firmly settled on creating expressive techno. A deep love for analogue sounds, rough textures and tough rhythms are accompanied by dystopian aesthetics. A clear focus on functional club weaponry is wrapped up in his productions to pay homage to the dance floors he draws so much inspiration from. 
Diversifying his legacy as a music connaisseur, Alex launched the respected Affekt Recordings in 2012 that has a catalogue of music from the likes of Jonas Kopp, Pär Grindvik, Alex Bau, Mental Resonance, VSK, and MTD for example as he continues to enterprise and enlist new talent apace with established artists. 
This label project also culminated in the emergence of Affekt Club that situated in his Italian home town of Frosinone. A reflection of the labels output, it has inspired the clubs ethos of underground culture and musical standards.

Oliver Rosemann es un DJ y productor de Leipzig, en activo desde los años 90.

En sus comienzos, Oliver se movía por la escena de Leipzig, donde tocó numerosos sets en vivo a principios de la década de los 2000, incluso en el 1040, uno de los clubes legendarios de la época. Se orientó fuera de la escena local y trató de colocar su música directamente a nivel internacional. Tras la colaboración con MasCon llamada "dualit", tuvo primeros grandes lanzamientos en sellos como Earwiggle, CLR o Fith Wall Records, además de algunas actuaciones internacionales. 

Poco después, Oliver lanzó un EP llamado "Pointing from the Moon" en Earwiggle, sello de Sunil Sharpe, siendo este una señal de partida para numerosos lanzamientos posteriores.
Hasta la fecha, hay cerca de 180 pistas y remixes, incluidos 3 LP, publicados en sellos como MindTrip, MORD Records, Warm Up Recordings, Pole Group, Stockholm LTD y muchos más.

Otra colaboración prometedora llegaría pronto, pues Pfirter y Oliver comenzaron a producir mano a mano en 2019 y presentaron su primer "Alpha EP", un conjunto de 4 pistas lanzado en MindTrip Music en 2020 que fue todo un éxito. 

Oliver también está presente en el escenario, y tanto actuando en  "Live" como en "Dj set", sabe cómo crear una atmósfera oscura, emocionante y extática en las pistas de baile.
Ya lo ha demostrado en clubs como Tresor, Distillery, Institut für Zukunft, About Blanc y otros países de Europa.

En 2021 fundó su propio sello discográfico Recorded Things, que ahora dirige junto a Sebastian Rothermel. Aquí, su sonido, que produce o pincha, es formativo y refleja el tipo de techno que representa. 
¡Uno de los últimos lanzamientos en Recorded Things es una colaboración más entre Oliver y Alexander Kowalski!
