The true techno dream team of Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann revisit their Elements project from a few years ago with a new series of killer remixes. Terra - originally released in 2011, did all sorts of damage to dance-floors across the globe. Now, it’s all set to do it again thanks to this Joseph Capriati Remix. The Italian techno headliner has grown into a major force on the scene in recent years, and here delivers a signature slice of muscular, driving techno - taut, dramatic and devastating. Paired with a remix of the now seminal Feugo Julien Jeweil’s remix also hits the spot - the track received a 2016 overhaul with some of Jeweil’s signature flair. The Frenchman has been a constant figure on the top of various charts and line ups for some time, and its easy to see why - Fuego is stripped back machine funk primed for big systems and even bigger moments.

Ego is more melodic, with a deft synth riff drifting about above train track grooves, and Andromeda then sucks you in with its hypnotic drums and cosmic, sci-fi melodies and shooting synth stabs. Last of all, Dawn Matter is the most astral of the lot, with smooth drums rolling deep and subtle acid pricks disappearing off to the horizon.

This is a superb EP that shows off Alex Mine’s various vital techno styles.

We can say that love and music are fuels that ignite the productions of Binaryh, and that consequently take them farther and farther. The musical strength of this couple is reaching greater proportions with each new release, and after a first collaboration of great success with the Prisma Techno, we invite the duo to an EP only with original tracks.

Composed by three tracks, the EP starts with the title track, 'Hydra', which has already been played in major festivals by big techno names such as Tale of Us and D-Nox. Booka Shade unite with emerging live act UNDERHER to deliver ‘Chemical Release’, dropping via Blaufield this March ahead of their 2019 Australia & NZ tour.
Booka Shade reveal “We fell in love with the sound of UNDERHER when we heard their remix of our song ‘Confessions’, and instantly knew we wanted a collaboration with them”. Following this remix last year, UNDERHER now return to Blaufield alongside the imprint bosses to unveil ‘Chemical Release’.
The resulting collaboration pairs UNDERHER’s trademark lyricism with Booka Shade’s high-quality production, in a driving ode to obsessively intense new relationships. It comes out in a package that includes an original and radio mix, plus remixes from each act - allowing both Booka Shade and UNDERHER to explore their own individual styles.
UNDERHER are a live electronic duo comprised of Tunisian-Canadian former DJ and tech enthusiast Kalden Bess & Italian-Canadian classically trained singer / songwriter Jessica Abruzzese.
