Après avoir fini dans un placard à balais, Giovanna Amati est enfin libérée contre rançon. Daniel Nieto échappe à un vaste coup de filet et reste en contact avec son ancienne victime. Leur relation ambiguë née dans la contrainte brutale de l'enlèvement se poursuit une fois que Giovanna a retrouvé la liberté.

Il devient kidnappeur et enlève la fille d’un riche industriel du cinéma. Une relation contre-nature se noue entre l’otage et son geôlier. Elle sera fatale à ce dernier.

A common marker of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, is fantasies of power. It ties in with many other markers, such as lack of empathy. Of course, it makes for some terrible behaviour from the person suffering from NPD, but it's something that can be turned off with work.
