Daydream in Blue has been one of those tracks I’ve loved for years—it’s always stuck with me, and I’ve wanted to put my own spin on it for a long time. Its actually both Lupe Fiascos ft Jill Scott and The Original version but i decided just to pay homage to original artists. This flip brings a heavier bass and a smooth hip hop flow, giving it a fresh vibe while still keeping that dreamy, nostalgic feel that makes the original so special. It’s my way of honoring a classic, but with my own twist, and I’m really excited to finally share it with everyone!

“Slim Boy Fat” started with me chopping up the iconic “Star 69 , "Know What Is What” sample,  a vocal I’ve always connected with and loved,  The groove came together quick, added some harmonic bass and wubs,  and from there, it just built itself.

I’ve been playing this one out at almost every show this summer, and the crowd reactions have been amazing!! so I figured it’s finally time to share it with the world. 💜

This one’s a tribute to Fatboy Slim, one of my biggest inspirations, reimagined through my own lens.

Aaron Schwallier, better known as TechTonic, is a producer, DJ, and music educator from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
