The latest release on Tash's Movement Recordings finds the label showcasing the fourth installment of its GLBLMVMT' series. These region-specific compilations were first unveiled in 2018 with Federico Monachesi curating the progressive hotbed of Argentina. Moving forward, the label unveiled a new edition each year, with Cyprus and India being the chosen destinations, expertly curated by Paul and Don and Aaryan across 2019 and 2020 respectively. Now unveiling the fourth and much anticipated edition, Movement has called upon Wielki to curate the talent rich region of France. Featured on the collection in order of appearance are: Nohak, The Duelz, ANMA, Da Fresh, Olffmann, Wielki and Reig and Green Tolek.

Getting the release underway and making his label debut is Nohak. Based in Lyon, the French artist has been a fresh name in the melodic house and techno world of late. 2020 proved to be Nohak's best year to date, notching releases for Infinite Depth and Somatic Records, while receiving play and support from Tale Of Us and Oostil. 2021 has seen Nohak debut on Movement affiliate Astral Records with the well-received Diamonds' EP. Now following releases for Awen Records, Nohak brings his cosmic techno sound to Movement with the electric vibes of Symbiosis'.

Opening up the month of September in style, Astral Records presents the first installment of their Celestial' series. These VA collections will stretch across the globe searching out the finest untapped talent along with industry veterans. With a concise approach the label explores a full spectrum of melodic house and techno, with an emphasis on the astral qualities that has made the genre appealing to many. Wrapped up in this five-track journey is a veritable smorgasbord of beats and melodies that are sure to delight the senses. Featured on the first installment are (in order of appearance) Asonanete, Ta'kaam, Leghet, Bruno Longhitano and Jickow.

Hailing from Spain and providing the first selection is Asonante. His dark atmospheric sound has found a home on Infinite Depth and WOOD, the latter of which has been his primary home since making his debut in 2018. Now adding Astral Records to his portfolio, Asonante makes his first appearance on Greek imprint with Volcano'. Punchy beats and machine gun rhythms sit at the heart of the piece, as devilish electronics slowly encase the framework. Continuing to build following the first of two breaks, hypnotic arps gently rise amidst ominous overlays, before the second break pushes tension skywards as the beats drop following a billowing stab.

Alexandros Djkevingr and Greg Ignatovich team up to release their energy-infused Melodic House & Techno EP "Hermione." The two-track EP is fueled by a house-arrangement, arpeggiated synth riffs, and captivating effects that come together for dancefloor hits. The title track, "Hermione," delivers a driving, rattling bassline that resonates throughout the entirety of the track. As the track progresses, new sci-fi and atmospheric elements are introduced. Both drops of "Hermione" offer insurmountable energy that will have anyone grooving. The second track of the EP, "Panselinos," delivers atmospheric arp leads and pristine percussion that leads into the eclectic breakdown. With captivating sound design in the breakdown, "Panselinos" adopts a grittier tone suited for peak time, with a thick bassline and prominent kicks complementing its centerpiece arp.
