My New Collaboration this time with Sonic Entity

Although we do not necessarily notice, geometry is all around us. It shapes the objects, relationships and matrixes around us and has its own sets of rules. In a way, Geometrical Progression shapes the way in which we interact with the world. In fact, with a special crafty hand such as Techyon – it has the ability to make new links and sonic structures that will establish innovative infrastructure to our sensorial experiences. 

These Geometrical Progressions have been outlined by Techyon, aka Ivan Pereira (Holophonik, Holographic Brain, Existence) and Pedro Stones (Keysense), who are both sound engineers from Portugal. Techyon was founded in 2004 with quantic maths and sacred geometry in mind to formulate a special pattern that will carve a new time travel experience. This voyage has the potential to transform various states of mind.

The formula that Techyon and Kin have worked on to ignite a new form of Geometrical Progression must contain invigorating sound experimentations that arouse the human ear. Then, along with Soulearth it will penetrate the outer layers until it reaches the Pineal Gland to spread serotonine all over the body for the proper exhilaration. It will no doubt create an extraordinary sensation, such that Egorythmia has foreseen, a sort of Beyond Gravity floating excitement that will generate an unforgettable trip.

Journey (Jay OM / Omsphere / Sonic Wave Control / Crocodile Rangers / Star~Trip) is the psychedelic solo project of, Milan born but now London based, Giampiero 'Jay' Mastino, label manager of Free-Spirit Records.

Jay forged his earliest psychedelic-rock influences playing guitar in local bars in Milan. His romance with the decks began in the late 80's whilst working fo
r a local radio station where he was given the opportunity to spin his first record. This love firmly in place the move to London followed in 1998. Soon thereafter he started djing professionally as Jay OM and in 2003 he studied Sound Engineering and Music Technology and began a solo production project under the name Journey and another collaborative project called Star~Trip.

In 2004, Jay conceived the vision of a network of like-minded artists in the psy-trance, progressive and ambient genres, all working to promote themselves and each other under one banner. Thus the Free-Spirit label was born... originally intended to focus on artist management, the label's skyrocketing success combined with the enthusiasm of Jay, the artists and fans enabled Free-Spirit to outgrow its horizons.

Following several successful compilation releases, Journey released his first EP in 2008 and his first solo album, The Man who Sold the Time, on Free-Spirit Records in January 2009, followed by a teaser EP, The Ripple Effect Part I, in July 2010 and his second album, Through the Mirror in September 2011. Journey has also released numerous tracks on several other international labels and also has numerous releases under his other projects. Jay has been rocking the crowds at many of the biggest venues internationally as well as outdoor parties and festivals in the UK, Europe, Brazil and South Africa under his various projects including Boom Festival, Universo Paralello, Origin Festival, Fora do Tempo Festival, Aurora Festival, Vortex Festival, Boomerang Festival, Psionic Visions Festival, Sonica Festival, Samsara Festival, Life Celebration Festival and many more...

Jay also began producing progressive under the name Omsphere in 2009 and has a further psychedelic collaborative project with Ralph K (Braincell/Solar Spectrum/Rastaliens) called Crocodile Rangers and he just recently in January 2012 formed a progressive tribal trance project with Steve Morley (Cathar/Cosmic Warrior) called Sonic Wave Control. Their debut album will be released on Free-Spirit Records in May/June 2012...

Today, Jay's reputation as an active, involved, and hard working individual in the global trance circuit precedes him. His commitment and enthusiasm for trance music has left an indelible impression on the world scene already and Jay's future has never looked brighter, from his burgeoningly successful record label to his organized events to his upcoming solo releases. Jay works tirelessly at his art and trade and the music he brings to the masses exemplifies the fruits of his labour and energy.

Techyon is a new concept of making electronic music.
