Julian Ray brings the party vibe next up on Dirty Dutch Digital with his futuristic funk-laden house bomb, “Power.” Bold, bright and energetic right from the start, this record is full of attitude and personality and is sure to get hips shaking across the world.

The track starts off amongst a soundscape of shimmering synths, looping FX, rolling basslines and tight drums. As it evolves towards breaking point, it lunges into an epic Daft Punk style synth attack that merges futuristic electronics with funky guitars. Deep, dark and dirty, “Freeze” sees the Dutchman explore a paranoid atmosphere that moves from a bristling, dark energy towards a melody-heavy, piano-laden dancefloor bomb. Intense yet with an air of freedom, this is a track that explodes with a confrontational attitude and ignites with an addictive curiosity.

Winding rhythms, deep, grumbling bass and punchy 4/4s create a watchful soundscape that is full of tension from the start. This begins to evolve as the track propels towards a wild injection of synth work that swooshes from side to side.  Ghetto funk vocals add personality as the track jolts and plunges of its own accord. Piano chords chime into the mix to add an old school rave vibe, sucking melody and air into this intense and ever-evolving soundscape.
