EMLKL3R (Emily Killer) is the aka of Emilia Álvarez a multidisciplinary artist and techno producer from Argentina, based in abroad.

EMLKL3R performs LIVE HARDWARE sets that blend a distinctive experimental strain of TECHNO with elements of Noise, Darkwave, House and Hardcore. 
Her performances stand out for their raw physicality and sonic intensity, using ELECTRIBES with mixer and occasionally Vinyl, CDJ, in hybrid or back-to-back formats.

Emilia has performed at festivals like MUTEK, and venues such as Artlab, Niceto Club (AR), Café OTO (UK), Kyoto Art Center (JP) among others, sharing the stage with a wide range of experimental and underground artists.

She also develops Technolecturas, a project for listening and movement sessions that combines field recordings, voices, and electronic production, evoking the vibe of the club in non-club environments.

Alma Laprida was born in 1985. Her experience with music includes studies in a Conservatory, pure improvisation and, recently, studies in Electronic Arts. She studied piano and guitar, and also played bass and percussion. She sang in a classical music choir and she screamed imitating her punk rock heroes in school bands. She sang jazz for years and learned how to improvise. She played in a medieval music ensemble for six years, learned about ancient instruments and discovered non-tonal music. Now she uses her medieval trumpet marine and her voice to improvise, but she knows that the music she likes the most is one she has never heard yet.
