Awais Kazmi is a guitarist, composer, song-writer and producer based in Lahore, Pakistan. He is known for his solo instrumental work and is also the lead guitarist of 'NAQSH' Band. He picked up the guitar at the age of 14 and has been playing ever since. He is completely self-taught, having taken only a few beginner guitar lessons at school.

In the early new millennium, Particle became known as one of the true pioneers of the emerging livetronica scene. Known for their signature mix of high-energy dance music, rock and electrofunk, the ensemble helped pave the way for many of today's top livetronica bands.
Particle has performed concerts in eight different countries and has staged epic marathon sets at some of the country's top festivals, including: Bonnaroo, Coachella, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits. Particle is currently putting the finishing touches on the tracks that will constitute their first studio album in over a decade. 
Particle is led by Steve Molitz (keyboards/vocals) and Clay Parnell (bass/vocals) and features Mike Daum (guitar/vocals) and Kito Bovenschulte (drums).
