During the 90s Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Queen used to play non-stop on his father’s Marantz record player. It was at that precise moment when, without knowing it, a beautiful relationship started.

“ I don’t even remember when I first tried mixing two cassette tapes on my Pioneer home stereo. Holding both “play” buttons at the same time was no easy feat, and to top it off the graphic EQ was hiding under a lid, absolute madness!” And so he learned to live with music, his friend and inseparable teacher. As years went by, percussion became ever-present at all levels and bands with friends came and went, always enveloped in rhythm. Music is a part of him: the goose bumps, his feelings when on stage, feeling a connection through your eyes and your dance moves, being the reason you smile and of course the passion to create a sound ambience capable of transporting you and telling you a story. The adventure started with the acquisition of his first turntables. Experimentation is the best way to describe it: techno and house in his first years, Drum and Bass during his time in London and forming a band called Apelo which delved into funk, Hip Hop, Scratch and Turntablism. He understood that the real truth is that music is found everywhere and giving it labels serves no purpose.

His eight-year stint as resident DJ at Blau Club, playing every night and working with such artists as Aphrodite, Noisia, Richie Hawtin, Maetrik, Joseph Capriati, Spor... helped Vincen create a very clear musical proposition.

Vincen seeks to create a collision between the audience and the musician through feelings, telling stories through minimalistic atmospheres, organic rhythms from the Earth core, eclectic analogue melodies and transcendental silences, which will never leave you feeling indifferent.
