New Jersey's finest returns to Ovum alias free. Having been contractually locked down in 2011Harry Romero's previous Philly outing came under his secretive Vaggio pseudonym. The air of mystery surrounding the artist frustrated and excited in equal measure and yet refreshingly freed the EP of any preconceptions. This was after all a debut release, right? The response was overwhelming and lit the touchpaper for what was soon to be Harry's return to his beloved raw house beats.

Those trademark drums were in full effect again at the tale end of last year with the release of 'The Butcher' on Circus Recordings. Meaty by name and nature the ep confirmed that Harry had lost none of his trademark Latin-infused swing. A trait also at the forefront of his 'You Get Deep' EP. 

The new tracks serve up a full Romero menu with Get Deep displaying a groove-heavy swing and a spritely arpeggiated synth that dances throughout.

Joe Santoro is debuting on DIRIDIM this month, with this single EP. ‘DATHIMA’ brings on some serious heat with a climaxing crescendo - the track combines the deep house production style of Joe with world music influences on the vocal and percussions for an ultimate mesmerizing effect. On remix duties we have label owner David Morales: the David Morales remix comes off as rhythm-heavy house music, while at the same leaving space for the harmonic progression as the track evolves, making it a perfect DJ set gem. On top of this, the house music legend also delivers a dub version of the remix; this take is less focused on the harmonic parts of the track making it much more centered around the rhythm and groove-radiating bass parts. Last but not least, the original track comes with an instrumental version without the acapella parts as well. 

All in all ‘DATHIMA’ is a class EP, each of the four tracks possesses a specific atmosphere for the dancefloor and we are sure we will hear these a lot in clubs and festivals around the world. ‘DATHIMA’ is out on all digital platforms on November 30th.

UK-born, Lisbon-based DJ, Producer, Songwriter, and activist Megatronic joins the RNT roster with her ‘Do I Belong To You?’ EP, a bold statement of her soulful and visionary sound. Side A opens with the deeply emotive  ’The World’ featuring soulful and melancholic vocals by Stavros, then moves to the pulsating and freewheeling groove of Nuffin’ But Love (co-produced by Jitwam) and finishes with the jazzy vibes of Organic, with Meg’s sultry spoken poetry floating over live instrumentation. On the flip side two superlative remixes by heavyweights Jimpster and Kiko Navarro take Meg’s music straight to the dance floor, with Jimpster bringing is his signature lush deep textures to ‘Been Thinking’ (the original of which is available as part of the digi EP only) and Kiko delivering an acid afro-house banger of a mix on ‘The World.’ A gorgeous listen from beginning to end, this EP captures a sound that feels both classic and futuristic all at once.

‘Lovelee Dae’, a classic pumper by New Jersey duo Blaze from 1996, gets all the love it deserves on 4 To The Floor in a ten-track mega release featuring remixes from the likes of Frankie Bones, Carl Craig and more. The Original and Radio Edit versions feature a classic deep house bassline, soft hi-hats and distinctive melodic keys. Austrian DJ Joyce Muniz drops the tempo and lays down a bouncy refrain in her laid-back remix. 20:20 Vision, aka Carl Finlow and Ralph Lawson, add bongo beats in their deeper-reaching extended version. The Beloved, aka Jon and Helena Marsh, inject even more groove into their Vocal Rmx, Chris Duckenfield provides a percussive Primitive Dub and Italian duo Supersonic Lovers get funky in their disco-inflicted remix. Brooklyn production titan Frankie Bones brings his famed Summer of Love sound to his previously unreleased Rave Redux mix featuring a thumping bass-line and acid-rave-centric drum rolls.
