Shot In The Heart (Demo)

Part 1 of my short demos of the fantastic HYPERSYNTH XENOPHONE,
a monophonic analog synth with so many features that you better check the complete list at hypersynth.com.
I did a very fast cut demo of some of my own patches and patterns, but be sure, this machine is capable of endless unbelievable sounds!

This track is a bit different from what I normally do - but it was wonderful to write and record.
It is a musical interpretation of a segment of a map of the San Andreas Fault.

I used the map segment for the composition in the following way.

Every color of the map represents an instrument as below (in introduced order).

Teal and dark teal: Oscillator 1 and 2 of the Vermona monolancet
Pink: Pocket piano
Brown and orange: Alto saxophone 1 and 2
Beige: Akai EWI
White: Electric guitar

The fault lines of the map are indicated by glitch effects, which I created with my new Hexe Revolver II pedal.

The Y axis of the segment represents pitch, and the X axis time (from left to right).
The size of the different fields determine the amount of the corresponding instrument in the mix.
