Mark has always centered his passions in nonconformity and evolution.

After graduating in music and business from Indiana University, Mark began a lifelong journey through the fires of media enterprising. Originally a guitarist and singer, Mark developed his penchant for music engineering and production in Nashville. While there, he brushed shoulders with the sound production forces of the Grand Ole Opry and began his tenure with the BMG-developed Lightheaded as their bass player. These band mates followed a short-lived story line depositing Mark in St. Louis, MO.

In Nelly's hometown, Grilliot cut his production teeth in the hip-hop field. As a producer and engineer for Popo Da Prophet (Pop, Lock, Drop It) Mark quickly honed a sound that garnered a reputation for results. Supplemental time was also spent on stages with the Columbia-signed rock act "Autovein" and fed Mark's desire to communicate in live settings and the studio.

From these experiences, he was catapulted into the pro circuit working with world-class acts including Diddy, Pitbull, Akon, T Mills, Homer OG, Bella Thorne (Disney), IM5 (Simon Fuller), Debby Ryan (Disney, Hub), Katerina Graham (Vampire Diaries, 17 Again, Honey 2), Chad Hively (Disney), and Kevin Gerdes (as seen on NBC's Outsourced), Brandon Rogers (American Idol), Michelle Delamor (American Idol), Raquel Houghton (American idol), Alsou (Universal), Kevin Stea (That Rogue Romeo), Jonathan Denmark, and so many more. He’s also had the privilege to work on projects with mega-producer JR Rotem, Grammy-nominated Cedric “Da Benchwarma” Smith, the John Lennon award-winning songwriter David Kater, producer/singer/wunderkind Clark Anderson, and acclaimed producer Mark Jackson.

Mark is currently producing, mix engineering and writing songs in Los Angeles. He also thrives as a composer employed by Diamond Mine Productions, the sole provider of underscoring for national television programs including Dr. Phil, Rachael Ray, and Entertainment Tonight.
