Pan-Pot are back, this time with the Cells EP on their newly formed label, Second State. The new label sees Pan-Pot taking full creative control as they move into the second phase of their career, and both Cells and Third Eye are keen indicators that the pair are starting a new chapter of their sonic journey.

Third Eye was born out of Pan-Pot’s urge to create a track with a driving, hypnotic bassline. As a result, Third Eye makes its way into your head as listeners instantly get hooked on the bassline, but it’s not until the arp changes that things really start getting weird and fun.

The title track Cells was built around the synthline after it caught Pan-Pot right from the beginning. Similar to a cell starting in its simplest form and expanding, the track builds into a peak of full dynamic and volume and is packed with a variety of frequencies.

Oliver Huntemann's beloved globetrotting mix series PLAY! is set to touch down for its highly- anticipated fifth edition in Vienna. Having journeyed through four of the world's best nightclubs on four continents, PLAY! 05 is the most recent glimpse into Oliver's DJ mindset: the tracks he's playing, the stories he's telling, the journey he is undertaking, and the ever important relationship he has with the dancefloor.
The PLAY! series has provided Oliver Huntemann a unique platform – allowing him to showcase the tight, nuanced techno and tech-house that he’s pioneered over the last two decades. Following the highly effective format of live recording Oliver performing at some of the most iconic clubs in the greatest cities of the world, all PLAY! editions also include a little something extra: a track created exclusively for the compilation, and named for the city the mix is recorded in.
The A-side "Schnitzel" is a deeper darker shade of the classic Huntemann sound, with long synth trails and inky tones, perfect for diving deep into the after hours, while the closing track of PLAY! 05's first half, "Vienna" takes the flip side stage on this two-track EP. With its chant-along robotic vocals of "Freak Out / Exhale", and subtly minimalist tech house tempo, it is an example of a master slowly building towards a peak.

We are happy to welcome Maceo Plex to Drumcode with the fourth instalment of his Conjure series, ‘Conjure Infinity’. Featuring two tracks ‘Conjure Dreams’ and ‘Conjure Floyd’, both are peak time monsters that introduce two very different elements. ‘Conjure Dreams’ utilises a groovy, melodic bass that is reinforced using tight thumping drums to shatter any dance floor into the universe. ‘Conjure Floyd’ builds into a more ‘heads down’ techno vibe with a very interesting breakdown. Two sure fire tracks to ignite the floor.

Doomwork, having notched up releases on 100%%Pure, Area Remote and Audiomatique in the past few years, have garnered a solid reputation for equally robust tech-house grooves. The Italian duo of Alex Catalani and Claudio Maura deliver Cowabunga for Christian Smith&#8217;s Tronic in November and it&#8217;s a weighty affair.

Bearing many of the attractive facets of previous Doomwork material; infectious grooves, powerful arrangements and perfectly pitched production, Cowabunga has been a constant fixture in Christian Smiths sets in recent months.

Lead cut Cowabunga evokes classic Peace Division with its fluid, undulating loops combining with dubbed vox samples and ascendant synths. Incessant and addictive its an out and out peak time cut of fine pedigree.

Get Down on the flip is a little more laid back but maintains the power of Cowabunga. A slow, steady build towards a bass heavy groove littered with filtered vocals and outrageous builds makes for an undeniable dancefloor bomb.
