We're so excited to finally share this new full-length album. "We Live Here Now" is inspired by our new life in San Diego. After our move from NJ four years ago, there were many highs and lows. From spending time at the beach to being trapped indoors during a pandemic, this collection of songs captures those feelings. "We Live Here Now" is a phrase my wife and I say over an over. It still feels surreal packing up life and moving across the country.

This album is full of thick synth bass lines, crunchy powerful drums, lush synth textures, floaty stacked vocals, and range from upbeat energetic bangers to hard grooving jams. Steve's guitars range from soft and acoustic to dark and dirty. From light to dark, this album has a full range of emotion and inspired by life. It's also reflected in the cover art by showing the Lake Murray sky in a unique way. This album is perfect for fans of bands like M83, New Order, and 311 to even modern synthwave and indie acts like Com Truise and Empire of the Sun. "Teeel just released his latest full-length album, Hydrostatic on Mush Records. Fans of his debut, Amulet  and follow-up, University Hights know what to expect: big productions that sound like the electro-pop spawn of New Order and Toro Y Moi. With nods to giants like New Order and Daft Punk and modern critic darlings Washed Out and Toro Y Moi, Hydrostatic has all the makings of a synth-pop breakthrough. "Temple Of The Sun" kicks the album off with a perfect piece of songcraft. Intricate synth and guitar work dance around a bouncing bass line, laying the foundation for the first of an album full of vocal hooks. "Disc Go" is a clear standout with equal parts Chromeo style playfulness, Tom Tom Club rubbery bass, and a repetitive synth line that harkens to filter-based Frech house music. With standouts like "You're Mine" and "Runners" anchoring the album, Teeel switches up styles from track to track delivering dancefloor ready grooves, dark washes of synthesized brooding, and pop hook after pop hook.
