Native to Auckland New Zealand, the long-haired Funk Ferret is world renowned for being notoriously good at digging for the sweetest samples; curating the finest mixtapes; crafting fantastic arrays of the chunkiest beats - in an effort to attract a mate; is hypoallergenic, and mostly ventures out at night. We are truly delighted to welcome our fellow furry friend to the Freemix family, and to our ever growing roster of certified party starters. 

In his debut Freemix EP package he serves up ‘Disco Down’ - a sleazy mid-tempo disco-inspired groover with lashings of hip hop vocals, square synths, and super punchy drums. And ‘Makin Me High’ (somewhat of a team motto for us here at Scour HQ) - smoother than a Brazilian bobsleigh star, with plucked guitars, catchy vocals, and enough rhythm to turn an empty dance-floor into a dirty-dancing style rumba in minutes.
