an event that results in destruction. 

Years of oppression, land theft and colonisation meant that foresting Industry could level hectres of native bush. Bush that cannot be reclaimed without great effort. 

Taonga pūoro taught and implemented under the guidance of Rob Thorne. Thank you for the wisdom you imparted and guiding me through learning an art that was stripped from Māori by the colonising British forces.
