This was rendered using my SN76489 emulator that I wrote a couple of days ago. The tune was arranged in DefleMask and exported to the VGM-format in order to parse the song data and play it back in the emulator.

SN76489 is a pretty limited sound chip, or a "digital complex sound generator" as they put it in the datasheet, but it's quite satisfying when you manage to squeeze something that sounds decent out of it.

Been working on a lot of experimental music, & wanted to try my hand at writing a "Dark world" theme in 7/8 time. 

I really like how it sounds so far, & I'm especially happy with the mellow tones blended with the uncertainty!
