Trevor Something - Your Sex Is A Dream

Marek Hemmann’s new EP “Chameleon” offers an appetizer to his forthcoming album: two euphoric 10-minute house cuts that do what they do whether in the oven that is the underground cellar or on the window sill at home with a view to the prairie. Both give that Hemmann characteristic crispy , dry beat with a pulse and drives the listener almost trance-like ever forward. On top of that, “Chameleon” builds a tender, soft synthie sound structure that again and again brings a wonderful heavenly vibe that in seconds turns into a complex form. “Alice” uses a similarly sounding house rhythm and forms a soft almost romantic melody that so quickly takes on a hypnotic-type flavor.

Marek Hemmann's neue EP „Chameleon“ bietet einen Vorgeschmack auf sein zukünftiges Album: zwei euphorische, 10minütige House-Songs, die ebenso gut im aufgeheizten Tanzkeller wie auch auf der heimischen Fensterbank mit Aussicht ins Grüne genossen werden können. Bei beiden gibt der Hemmann-typische, knackig-trockene Beat den Puls vor, und treibt den Hörer fast tranceartig fordernd voran. Darüber baut sich in „Chameleon“ langsam ein zartes, sanftes Synthie-Klanggerüst auf, das immer wieder wie eine wunderschöne Himmelserscheinung verschwindet, nur um wenig später in noch komplexerer Form erneut zu erscheinen. „Alice“ nutzt einen ähnlich zackigen House-Rhythmus, und formt darüber eine sanfte, fast romantische Melodie, die sehr schnell in hypnoseartige Zustände entführt.

He participates in the artistic management of the structure today and gives a deep-house accent in the last releases. This eighteenth release is the perfect example. On 'La Mat ' Joris demonstrates one more time its talent to build subtile and sophisticated melodies, a track which tempts to dance arms in the air on a beach by looking at the sunrise of the sun on the sea. And remixes are of the same level with a version from the German duet Aka Aka to be played peak time, and a second one very deep realized by a another expert in melodies, Swiss David Keno.

Few months ago, Teho released his first LP "Polytone" with remixes by Aalson, Ceas, Joris Delacroix, Ron Flatter, Joachim Pastor and Clawz SG.
