A groove ridden bassline that defines his style moves in, that will guide the listener to a maddened state through a crazy unpredictable drop. Forget the third eye, here's the fourth, as an unheard of progression ensues, carrying sounds that are literally creasing the aural space.

"TripMonk" has embraced the new wave of PSYCHEDELIC BREAKBEAT being marketed under several monikers, especially as PSYCHEDELIC TECH-FUNK. This new hybrid genre attempts a fusion between several genre influences. It takes its basic structure and backbone from classic breakbeat, and the more modern future-breaks. It then adds in psychedelic and techno influences, and draws heavily influence directly from psychedelic trance. The result is something unlike anything previously concocted.

This aspiring young man has proven himself as a favorite amongst southern California's diverse electronic music scene. TripMonk (formerly known as Enve), has been a local favorite playing at all kinds of music gatherings and events ranging from massive festivals, to clubs, raves, all the way to intimate outdoor musical gatherings; making him one of the most diverse members of California's electronic music scene.

Inspired by the fresh new sounds of Psychedelic Tech-Funk, Psychedelic Trance, and Breakbeat, TripMonk brings a new school of musical thought to the southern California electronic music scene. Nick began his DJ career at the young age of 15, and received his first break into the industry only two years later at the age of 17. Since then, he has been a progressive and consistent contributor to the world of electronic dance music. He is an entertainer who continually demonstrates an expert ear for music, superb mixing ability, and the ability to tailor his sound to match any environment. For the past years, he has blasted dance floors all over southern California with his unique sound and musical vision. From the years he spent honing his sound playing progressive, trance, and house, he now brings his veteran experience to the world of Psychedelic Tech-Funk "PsyBreaks", where he strives to expose dancers to new sounds, new textures, and new musical journeys.

Over the years he has played shows and collaborated with companies, individuals, and artist affiliates including: Knights of the Turntable, Garage Noise Productions, Perfecto Records, Pulsar, PsyTribe, Electronarcosis, ElectriCocoon, The Psychedelic Monks, Vibrant Freqs, MNinety9 Sound, Armada Music, Ultra, Black Hole Recordings, Broken Robot Records, Psychoactive Records, NSB Radio and many other revered collectives throughout the electronic dance music scene. As one of the most active organizing members of The Psychedelic Monks, and a resident for The UK based label: Psychoactive Records, Nick has carved a niche out for himself the ambassador of PSYCHEDELIC BREAKBEAT & TECH-FUNK to the southern California dance music scene.

Looking for a way to expand California's Psychedelic Tech-Funk movement, Nick founded Vibrant Freqs, an organized collective with the expressed intent to spread this new form of music to world of electronic dance music at large. Nick is proud to be amongst the first generation of DJs to embrace and promote this music in the southern California electronic music scene.

Using Vibrant Frequencies as his back bone he started a radio show on "NSB Radio". This project helps keep Nick's DJ skills fresh and diverse, while also allowing him to help highlight fellow artists in the scene. And through this dedication he has begun to host a time slot on the worlds #1 breaks radio station NSB Radio. Voted since 2007.

TripMonk is a dedicated and talented artist with a great deal of drive and ambition. Expect to hear much more from Nick in the future as he expands his musical reach, and builds upon his already promising musical career.
