Silk Music Showcase 513 - Sundriver Mix

What can I say about this mix that I have poured my heart and soul into? "Your ears are safe with me". Instead of finding the latest bangers, or fitting myself into some deep desert tech that I rarely play, I decided to take this opportunity to really dive into what House Music means to me. What House Music makes me feel, and what I hope it makes you feel too. This is the type of soulful, uplifting groovy House Music that I have all the fondest memories of. House Music that reminds me of a bay front stage or poolside bar in Miami, perched on a pyramid or under a star gate in Detroit, vibes from the heartbeat of Chicago, a Sunday afternoon at Desert Hearts, or a beautiful sunrise on the Playa at Burning Man. The kind of music that inspired me to make this a lifelong mission. Many of the tracks in this mix I have had for years, some I've been playing for over a decade at this point. Others are new and fresh, but all of them fit perfectly together to create this masterpiece, an owed to House Music, my House Music Thesis. And as icing on the cake, I took full advantage of their no time limit format to close out the set with over an hour of originals. For The Love of House Music.
