Myself and Nic really thought this mix was one of our best, taking the sunset slot is what we love and this really sets the mood. Hope yas like it xx

Our main man Tekx takes the helm for episode 73!

This young gentleman and scholar is a treasure of the tribe.

He and his crew (The Lab) were among the first patrons of our warehouse parties back in the day. They helped to define our vibe and what we are all about. 

They have done a great service to the community, always eager to help set up, clean up, and most importantly, fire up. 

Over time we developed a bond that continues to get stronger every day. We are so stoked that Tekx is fulfilling his destiny by becoming a force on the decks as well. 

He started mixing late 2019 after going to multiple parties mostly hosted by the crew. Seeing the Red Moon crew kill it nearly every weekend made him want to learn, so that’s what he did. 

Self taught, he and Weiss practiced at home until their debut set at the Murray on New Years, where they left punters no other choice but to cut shapes like possessed people. 

Tekx’s style leans towards the progressive deep house & techno + chunky minimal deep tech, but he can get around pretty much anything.

Originally from a small country town just east of Melb, he started coming to town and going out almost every weekend when he hit 18. 

Now his plan is to get a few gigs under his belt, and take his skills to the snow scene around the world and play at the crazy clubs in the snow.

We can’t wait to have him and the Lab playing at one of our parties. Until then, enjoy this fat,  juicy three metery of a mix by the dog!
