FREYA: Main Stage Elements Festival [Dec 2021]

This week we welcome back Astro Pleasure, an aspiring astronaut from Melbourne’s south east and is currently recruiting crew members to join him on an expedition to space.

AP, the alias of Brodie Hayward is a long time friend of the Proxima community and has had the “pleasure” of being a part of their success so far.

 He draws inspiration from all walks of life and many diverse oddities of music.   AP has explored many different genres and has a versatile musical background under his belt but mainly produces prog and techno. Which offers a truly pleasurable listening experience to those who are lovers of dance music.

Equipped with a whole bunch of world class unreleased tunes as well as an inventory of tastefully picked tunes to suit his uniquely raw blend of melodic yet driving progressive techno, AP will be sure to make you feel something throughout a set.
 
Although talented, Brodie is constantly improving. We don't think it will be much longer until we see him slamming a dusty dance floor at your favourite bush doof and for us at Proxima, we can't wait.

• The Break Down • 

We’ve been absolutely chomping at the bit to share our Fusion Festival set recording. This night was pure magic, the craziest experience of our lives. We fed off the energy of the crowd and they weren’t short on giving it to us.

Since our little Fusion seshwa we’ve had a fair chunk of people who attended reach out asking us where the fuck the recording is?? Well here it is! Wrap your bloody listening gear around it and enjoy legends.

Also to everyone who’s sent us messages thanking us for the set, we absolutely froth you for your messages, for dancing and for the motivation to keep doing what we love - it means a lot.

The man himself, what else can be said, @mico-migliarese is one of the central forefathers, and pioneers of the Red Moon Tribe, from the beginning. 

His presence in our community has been felt like non other, his contribution in shaping the parties that brought so many of us together is something immeasurable. Anyone that knows Mico, knows how full this mans heart was, how ready he was to give, and to bring people together. Plus he knows how down a raw egg like non other. We miss the man!

This mix takes us back to the days, you'll find a couple classics, a couple new takes, and a whole lot of nostalgia.
