Esta sesión pone de manifiesto el paralelismo entre la cultura soundsystem jamaicana y la cultura picotera colombiana. 

La sesión comienza con la riqueza rítmica y melódica de la tradición yoruba afrocubana que evoca a la misma diáspora africana de la cultura nybingui jamaicana. En esta misma correlación y sin marcharnos del Caribe,  viajamos hasta el continente americano con un bullerengue afrocolombiano interpretado por Patrona Martinez.  

Sin movernos de Colombia, nos encontramos con un tributo cumbiero a los míticos Abissinians jamaicanos. Y de allí volvemos a Cuba de la mano de una de las voces femeninas más potentes de la historia, la Lupe, que nos vuelve a sumergir en la tradición religiosa africana incorporando los sonidos salseros en un éxtasis complejo y salvaje. En otro vínculo entre la cultura  jamaicana y la cultura colombiana.

Otra de las similitudes  entre la cultura soundsystem jamaicana y la cultura picotera colombiana es el uso de las denominadas “placas” en la mítica voz de Mi…………Chart

Como dice la canción, si quieres que algo se muera déjalo quieto.
La Lucha en Bermudas encarna una actualización del soundsystem colombiano en el sentido que incorpora nuevos ritmos de baile, nuevas expresiones de la vanguardia afrodescendiente y sonidos avanzados pero siempre periféricos a la propia tradición afrocolombiana sin renunciar a los sonidos más representativos de la cultura picotera. 

Así como el esencialismo y la patrimonialización comportan el estancamiento de la cultura, las nuevas propuestas, con el debido respeto a la tradición, configuran una continuidad, aportan dinamismo y manifiestan una voluntad férrea de que la cultura picotera perdure y nunca muera.

La Lucha en Bermudas también recupera canciones africanas de los 70’s que no llegaron a ser picoteras pero lo hubieran podido ser si hubieran llegado a manos de los maestros picoteros colombianos.

Por otro lado cabe destacar la presencia de voces y caracteres femeninos en la sesión, reivindicando el papel de la mujer en esta cultura picotera en donde el hombre domina todos sus aspectos y a la mujer que a pesar de ser pionera en esta cultura se le ha opacado y no se le ha dado el reconocimiento de su aporte musical a la comunidad.

Aytee Kane - Housology 2 (Jesus Loves the ACID)

Telastika, is a national and international DJ born in Catalunya (Spain). She always had a certain interest in electronic music, in 2008 she had her first contact with vinyls, thanks to Edu Exploited (producer and creator of one of the first independent electronic music labels in Girona "Exploited Dj's Records"). Thenceforth, she has been a resident of the Cel Room (Girona), Missmostache (Madrid), Fulanita VIP Club (Madrid), creator and promoter of Bollotronik Party (Catalunya) promoter and resident of Diamante Club (Madrid) and played in multiple events at Madrid and Barcelona clubs like Fabrik, Pacha, Sala Pirandello, among others. She learned to mix with minimal but eventually she opted for electro-house, tech-house, acid-techno, acid-house, techno-minimal. She is considered a very "electric" DJ, flexible and with a lot of track vision.Her first debut was opening up a session in the emblematic Sala del cel (Girona), she also debuted in clubs of Spain, Belgium and Buenos Aires.
