here comes the album's opener, a melody and playback I wrote and produced 6 years ago with no text idea until yesterday when two guys met to drag the whole world into the abyss with their f....g egos while the whole world watches helplessly and prefers to focus on its own little lives. it's not they, it's we who mess it up then. writing lyrics has never been easier for me than in this case. and I didn't waste much time to direct my virtual singer, the AI seemed to understand the topic instantly...

I was glad to contribute some guitar parts to this summer confection from Marcus and Martin of Splintered Finger @fraudstein.

For those keeping track at home, Splintered Finger created the basic tracks as an open collaboration. I added that melodic 70's-style rhythm guitar part as well as a spacey guitar pad. The first solo is also me. The second solo comes courtesy of the always distinctive and ever rippin' Martin Reed @its-tophonicus. Then Jörg @joerxworx brings his smooth and sexy alto (you can hear more of that horn here: https://soundcloud.com/joerxworx/sax-on-sunrise-redemption-by-splintered-finger) Finally Martin picks it up again and takes it all the way home and beyond. Martin also edited and mixed. 

This track kept me good company recently on a particularly salty week away from work. I'll keep it posted until the end of summer, or whenever summer ends for me, anyway.

RW&TL is one part of my soundtrack for a local movie "City Stories", a portrait of six different people, six short cuts. They are about their life and visions, and future dreams in our rather small town...big and small things, that keep the engine burning...

This track is about a female dancer, her dance is inspired by sign language...
Playing table guitar was the only way to get some humble results in the wet cold...and the idea for the further arrangement. 
By the way - if a singer wants to add some lyrical stuff, spoken or sung, I would like to make a re-arrangement / second version :-)

My main influences are punk, rap, dub, world and electronica.
I'm not a programmer. I record the majority of my tracks live.
Here and there I use loops/samples when they suit the need.
Several people that have heard my tracks describe them as mini soundtracks.
