Francis Bebey’s Prière à Shango is a hypnotic, ritualistic track that blends traditional African rhythms with an experimental electronic edge. The song revolves around a repetitive, trance-inducing percussion loop, layered with Bebey’s signature thumb piano (sanza) melodies and a bamboo flute, delivery that feels both prayerful and commanding. Last Gentleman On Playa is back on his home record label, It's Good To Be A Tree, with a delightful organic house release, which also features remixes by Betelgeize and Waxwood.

Well known as a Burning Man regular, Last Gentleman On Playa is a respected producer and well-travelled DJ. His innovative mid-tempo style combines charming melodies and organic sounds with tribal drums.

The EP's title track, "Bagus" has mystical flutes and vocals about aboriginal cultures layered over a chugging synth bass with acid tones. Betelgeize's remix of "Bagus" lifts the tempo and works in some melodic pads to create an uplifting version. Waxwood adds some funk to his version with a new bassline that is layered with a jazz piano and vocal sample about blues music. "Opagundes" is a downtempo track with metallic percussion and a psychedelic bassline laying a foundation for bleeping synths. "Nanuka" is the track that features Valique, and it is a soothing track with deep pads and a trippy flute at the heart of its swirling groove.

After releasing our first compilation ‘Curated Feelings’ in December last year, we are coming back to you with a new Single series ‘Singles Exploration’.

This series will always be following a simple and clear 2-tracks format: An original piece coming with its reinterpretation.
Encouraging new artists collaboration and enhancing the discovery of new sound boundaries of a flourishing music scene.

Seashell’s Cavity is the first single of this series, created by the rising talent Laurent Flaoh. This piece of music by the Paris-based producer is the best introduction we could have imagined for our newly created ‘Narrated Resonations’.
Psychedelic synths and weird sounds floating in the air, supported by a forward and driving beat that will fill dancefloors with high energy and a feeling of drifting to the deepest bottom of the cavity.

lucid created a decelerated and delicate reinterpretation of this piece. Filled with mesmerizing sounds and atmosphere, he is using the original synths and vocal samples with perfection and delivers us again a track that will drive you along your extended after hours.
