In October 2025, the pulse of Tokyo’s underground resurfaces through Kanse, co-founder of the city’s acclaimed Abducted Groove collective. His sophomore EP, Get Down, arrives via the now Paris-based Liquid Love Records, marking a refined yet raw evolution in his unmistakable electro language.

Having released on revered, dancefloor-focused imprints like Club Designs, Minuit Rapide and Liquid Love Records, Kanse has carved out a distinct space in the global electro movement — merging the mechanical precision of Detroit’s legacy with the emotional intensity of Japan’s modern club sound.

Get Down sharpens that fusion. Where his earlier work explored deep, shape-shifting rhythms, this record leans into propulsion: a tightly wound interplay of rugged machine funk, broken acid patterns, and sleek, synthetic atmospheres. Every track feels alive — elastic, restless, and aimed squarely at the physical core of the dance floor.

Beneath the voltage, there’s restraint and detail. Kanse’s command of space and rhythm reflects the same sensibility that drives Abducted Groove’s club nights — a place where electro isn’t nostalgic, but vital and forward-looking.

With Get Down, Kanse doesn’t simply revisit electro’s roots; he accelerates them. The album stands as both a continuation and a clear message — his frequency, and unique sounds are here to stay.
