Project 4

I set out to make my second lo-fi hip hop style track in a single session and decided I needed some lyrics. Since I can't sing, I was going to use an old poem that I had written when I came across Archaeology by Josh Baptie. The lyrics fit the music and arrangement really well so I went with it. It flowed well enough that I recorded the whole thing in one take. Hopefully, I'll clean it up later but this is what I have so far.

Another etcCollaboration! This time with Megs providing lyrics via a poem that she wrote. I had to modify it slightly to make it work for the song structure but it's 90+% intact.  

Apologies in advance to Megs for me destroying her perfectly good lyrics with my voice. I took the Satellite metaphor and ran with hit so hopefully all the weird effects and pitch correction make it somewhat listenable.

Another etcCollaboration! This is based on another one of Meg's awesome poems. You should spend some time on her instagram if you haven't already.

I spent a while on the last track so I wanted to keep this short and simple to match the format of the poem. This track is just a single mic, a guitar, and some reverb. It was recorded in two takes with no other fancy production stuff so apologies for the singing (again).
