Western Australia's most brutal Heavy Metal sons, TEMPEST RISING, have pieced together what is an undeniably epic piece of melodic metal for their new single, KNOW MY NAME.

The record was recorded and Mixed by Simon Mitchell of reknown progressive metal band Chaos Divine and mastered by Forrester. The process was a cathartic one for the band, who took their time in crafting this iconic song.

Vocal-wise on the record, there are cleans through to operatic power vocals and deep guttural growls and piercing screams and all in between. Vin Trikeriotis likes to keep things sitting right in the cut between Korn's Jonathan Davis, Disturbed's David Draiman, Lamb of God's Randy Blythe and Killswitch Engage's Howard Jones.

The band's work ethic, high-energy stage show and their unique style of metal has seen them support and tour with some of the Australia's most talented metal bands such as Voyager, Chaos Divine, Sydonia, Frankenbok, Desecrator, King Parrot, Psycroptic, Caligulas Horse and Breaking Orbit. They have also toured Japan with black metal legends Marduk and Carach Angren.

Tempest Rising has been building up the anticipation for the release of 'KNOW MY NAME' over the past few weeks whilst filming a music video and promoting a launch show @ Amplifier on the 11th of September. Now the time has come for its release and the Single drops on the 28th of August! 

If you didn't already know their name, you will after you hear this single. Tempest Rising are a force to be reckoned with.
