This track was originally seeded when I saw Dsyphemic in Mexico and connected with him saying "lets do an Aztek collaboration!" He was instantly up for it so i started by writing the first drop of the track. Dsyphemic then came back and and wrote and even bigger drop! I then arranged and then sent it back him where he composed the final 3/4 section. It was then my time to mix the track. A true testament to remote producer collaboration.

Drawing energy from the shifting sands of global music, sonic alchemist Temple Step beckons listeners on a sensory journey through movement, ritual, and binaural sound in his 2020 album, ‘Tribe.’ A fusion of influences bygone and new, this visionary offering invokes the spirit of ceremonial sound as it beams through the lens of tribal electronica and conscious dance culture, incorporating elements of global bass, organic house, emotive downtempo, and shamanic music into a dazzling tale of styles traversing the shapeshifting landscapes of time. Sewn with old-world instrumental work, mesmerising vocals, and surges of deep, undulating bass, Temple Step’s dynamic compositions balance force and elegance with a storyteller’s precision to unearth the magical, healing essence of world music as it bends to humankind’s unshakeable desire to move, meditate, and create across times luminous and dark.

His roots in ­New Mexico, Mexico, and Southern Africa are the ingredients which inspired his experiential sound and event series Swayló Nights­­, an immersive music and art gathering with the goal of cultivating connection and encouraging expression, creativity, and imagination. Swayló fosters universality, oneness, and liberation through the power of music and experiential activations. 

Swayló’s unique productions incorporate elements of tech house, deep house, world music, tribal rhythms, trap, hyphy hip-hop instrumentals, and organic instrumentation. Swaylo creates his productions using classic retro samples from acid synths and Roland keyboards merged with drums from all over the world including timbales, Caribbean steel drums, and the African Djembe. Swayló helps spread the word that nature is magical. Over the course of just a few years, Swayló has brought his musical talents to the stages of New Orleans’ Voodoo Music & Arts Experience, Sundance Film Festival, and Spring Awakening while supporting renowned acts such as Zhu and Nora En Pure. Swayló brings his listeners on an auditory adventure into the underworld, through a dream state, and back to their center. The result is music that is designed to purify, regenerate, and heal.

Temple Step. Music Producer, DJ, Sound Healer and Ceremonial Alchemist has been honing his craft in music for over 32 years. During this time he has had multiple collaborative producers groups, performed around the globe, shared countless Ecstatic Dance and Festival Sets, Co-developed Motiv Music, his music production business and Ecstatic Dance Melbourne.
 
His artist intention is to create transformative music that empowers, moves emotion and creates connection. His multicultural indigenous influences and diverse electronic music genres take the listener on a journey throughout planetary cultures and beyond.
 
To create this, Temple Step collaborates with sacred world musicians, vocalists and neo shamans from around the globe including Ape Chimba, Deya Dova, Desert Dwellers, Kalya Scintilla, Nessi Gomes, Darpan, Tahir Qawwal, Peruquois, Dysphemic, Ganga Giri, Murray Kyle, Kaliash Kokopelli, Raio, and Joony Joon.
