Drawing energy from the shifting sands of global music, sonic alchemist Temple Step beckons listeners on a sensory journey through movement, ritual, and binaural sound in his 2020 album, ‘Tribe.’ A fusion of influences bygone and new, this visionary offering invokes the spirit of ceremonial sound as it beams through the lens of tribal electronica and conscious dance culture, incorporating elements of global bass, organic house, emotive downtempo, and shamanic music into a dazzling tale of styles traversing the shapeshifting landscapes of time. Sewn with old-world instrumental work, mesmerising vocals, and surges of deep, undulating bass, Temple Step’s dynamic compositions balance force and elegance with a storyteller’s precision to unearth the magical, healing essence of world music as it bends to humankind’s unshakeable desire to move, meditate, and create across times luminous and dark.

Profusely creative, highly energetic, spontaneous body grooving are just a few words that describe the vortex Spaceman Creates when he’s on the decks. He is deeply inspired by grooves hailing from our planets most ancient cultures. He aims to connect others to light, laughter & purpose through the use of carefully crafted DJ sets that span the range from chunky disco funk to deep playa temple bass. Through the use of deep trance-inducing rhythms, he is able to bring audiences together through dance and movement. His passion for dance music culture is apparent in every event he produces and participates in.

Temple Step. Music Producer, DJ, Sound Healer and Ceremonial Alchemist has been honing his craft in music for over 32 years. During this time he has had multiple collaborative producers groups, performed around the globe, shared countless Ecstatic Dance and Festival Sets, Co-developed Motiv Music, his music production business and Ecstatic Dance Melbourne.
 
His artist intention is to create transformative music that empowers, moves emotion and creates connection. His multicultural indigenous influences and diverse electronic music genres take the listener on a journey throughout planetary cultures and beyond.
 
To create this, Temple Step collaborates with sacred world musicians, vocalists and neo shamans from around the globe including Ape Chimba, Deya Dova, Desert Dwellers, Kalya Scintilla, Nessi Gomes, Darpan, Tahir Qawwal, Peruquois, Dysphemic, Ganga Giri, Murray Kyle, Kaliash Kokopelli, Raio, and Joony Joon.
