We brought in the New Year surrounded by the majestic energy of Peru’s Sacred Valley, where the music of Liquid Bloom wove an immersive sonic journey of connection and celebration, with the Live vocals from Onanya. This special evening was more than just a performance - it was a gathering of medicine community and family, a sacred container to honor the passing year and welcome the next with intention, joy, and unity.

Liquid Bloom New Year’s Eve Set in the Sacred Valley Peru

These songs were born from an encounter that only Lake Atitlán could host. Between volcano fire and deep waters, indigenous wisdom and local myth, the land itself shaped the dialogue of two artists: Lo.Renzo, Italian multi-instrumentalist and producer, and Laura Catharïna, Brazilian singer and producer, whose voice carries both fragility and strength, shadow and light.

Together they created music as a reflection of the lake — a place where inequality and beauty coexist, where ceremonies open portals to mystery, and where silence invites expression.

The result is an offering of sound that captures not only the essence of the land, but also the transformative power of meeting at the right time, in the right place.

People arrived in the outdoor area of the Jackon Wellsprings in full reverence and connected with the movement workshop instantly as i serenaded it with downtempo sacred beats. 

Gongfu Tea service provided tea throughout the night for those who liked to sit, relax and/or energize with some top quality pu'er.

Then we all integrated the dance by hoping into the healing fluidity of the hot mineral waters, steam room, sauna, and olympic pool of the Jackson Wellsprings. A highlight of the ecstatic dance, and an amazing way to integrate together in community after a long night of dancing.

Autumn equinox, new moon and a partial solar eclipse all came together. 

A rare mix of energies that shaped the flow of the dance.

This is a recording of my ritual live looping set that I played at Before Sunset Beach on the Aegean coast of Turkey this summer.

Before Sunset Beach has an incredible sunset view over the crystal clear waters of the Aegean see, where ancient Greeks & Romans used to live and eventually taken over by the Ottoman Empire. The land is beautiful and rich, they grow lemons and olives in the surrounding mountains and you can find many incredible ancient ruins around the area.

In the set you will here me playing and looping a Spanish style acoustic guitar, a fender electric guitar, and native flute, as well as live vocal textures and melodies.

All of the music is improvised in the moment, as I feel. The beats & bass lines were pre-produced in Ableton live but the arrangement of the loops is improvised as I change and launch them live.

I really love sharing and creating this type of musical experience because I become a pure open channel to divine creativity as I improvise and sometimes  even surprise myself.

This WAS NOT MADE WITH AI. It is completely real HUMAN creativity and expression.
