ARCHITEKT is the alias of Michael Pipitone, a genre-bending producer whose journey began behind the drums in thrash , post hardcore & death metal bands before evolving into a cutting-edge force in bass music.

Fusing cinematic tension, industrial grit, and relentless low-end power, Architekt’s sound is both immersive and uncompromising. His background in metal brings a visceral energy to every track, while his meticulous production style builds haunting atmospheres and explosive drops that push the boundaries of modern electronic music.

With releases on renowned labels such as Impossible Records, UltraG, Buygore, and Crowsnest, Architekt has carved out a distinct niche within the heavier side of EDM. His work bridges the gap between aggressive sound design and refined musical storytelling, earning him a reputation as both a technician and a visionary.

Born in South African and living in Philadelphia, USA. Hot in the scene spinning records in the mid-2000s and sponsored by Universal Music, Yonzi was one of the first DJs and pioneer nightclub event organizers in Johannesburg (JHB), South Africa to innovate, mix, blend and promote the combination of electro/tech house, with Afro house. Today, AfroTech/house is one of the most popular and engaging electronic music genres out there. Yonzi took a 15 year break from DJing to focus on his career and studies. He never lost the passion for music, and got back into DJing during the pandemic. He is influenced by the thriving house music scenes in South Africa, Europe and the US, and is empowered by the global electronic music movement. He hopes to showcase the vibrant and engaging energy house music radiates to the world.
