Temple Funk Collective brought the house down at Bestival 2014 - a New Orleans-style 8-piece brass band riot, taking their lead from the Louisiana legends and adding gypsy, jungle and hip hop.
Hailing from Temple Cowley, Oxford, Temple Funk hit the scene in late 2012 and haven’t looked back since. With a rapidly growing fan base they are becoming one of the UKs top New Orleans Brass Bands
Now mixing upbeat originals into a set of some classic covers, with both clever and cheeky arrangements Temple Funk are a band you can watch over and over again and still spot something new.
Temple Funk also supply the horn power and drums behind the Dutty Moonshine Big Band, a collaboration with other artists to create one of the UKs best live acts on the swing scene
2015 looks to be another top year for the band as they visit some of the UKs top festivals and continue their busy gigging schedule. Watch out for new recordings, new music, and a live show you can’t afford to miss

Swingamajig is the UK’s first one day urban festival dedicated to Electro Swing, Gypsy Folk and vintage mayhem! Swingamajig takes the sounds and styles from the 1920′s and brings them up to date with a modern twist bringing together several thousand of the best dressed ladies and gents to party like it is 1929

Swingamajig has grown out of the success of Hot Club de Swing, a Birmingham club night that is all about swing with a big bass sound, and is curated by the Electric Swing Circus – The UKs Hottest Electro Swing band. Four diverse stages showcasing some of the most inventive and entertaining acts on the scene Live bands, DJs, swing dancers, vintage cinema, acrobats, artists and more. A full day and night of wild of vintage debauchery that will be the talk of the town for months to come!

C@ In The H@ (pronounced: Cat in the Hat), DJ & Producer who creates a fusion of early twentieth century swing and jazz, and chunky twenty-first century beats with bouncy electronic bass.  

Hailing from Birmingham UK with an innovative style called "Swing with the Big Bass Sound", his DJ sets are about mashing it up and having fun, bringing you Electro Swing & Vintage Remix with aspects of Turntablism, DnB, House, Hip Hop, Dubstep & whatever else fits into the melting pot.  

He is also Director at Ragtime Records alongside Tom ESC (Electric Swing Circus) & Duke Skellington (Vaude Villainz).  His releases have seen him getting a number of Spotify editorial playlistings (including a no.1 spot), tracks in the top 10 on Beatport, and his remix of 'Swingin' Together' has been featured on no less than 3 best of Electro Swing compilations. As well as producing music for Ragtime Records, he has also had releases on Freshly Squeezed, Pedigree Cuts, Breakbeat Paradise Recordings, Ton Liebt Klang, & Greenqueen Music.   

Since 2012, his music has secured him gigs at the most exciting UK Festivals including Boomtown, Shambala, Secret Garden Party & Glastonbury; as well as seeing him playing gigs all across Europe, and further afield including UAE & Thailand.

Eleven bright musicians with unbelievable drive who trust in brass sound and bring their passion to everyone with their trombones, saxophones, trumpets, drums, percussion, and, of course, deep sousaphone. Music of MOSBRASS is inspired by various genres from jazz and latino to disco and jungle – all that creates a juicy cocktail of musical stories, emotions, and incredible energy that never leave very different listeners untouched. Mosbrass are composers and arrangers of all music they perform, they are sincere with what they do to make people happy, and dance to their music.
MOSBRASS is a Moscow brass band formed in Moscow, Russia in 2010 that became one of the first bands to establish modern brass band culture in Russia. In 2013, they even organized an International Moscow Brass Band Festival where during the whole day only brass bands from all over the world were playing until late at night. The 2013 and 2014 year festivals were featured with CQMD brass band (France), Les Chevals (France), Maharaja Brass Band (India-France), The Apples (Israel), and Kristijan Azirovich Brass (Serbia). At different times, MOSBRASS has been playing together with Emir Kusturica and his No Smoking Orchestra, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble and Les Lapins Superstars.
MOSBRASS are well known in most famous clubs of Moscow and Saint Petersburg and open-air festivals in Russia. The band is a permanent participant of the most popular Jazz Festival in Eastern Europe and CIS — Usadba Jazz, where a number of world famous artists such as Marcus Miller (USA), Avishai Cohen Trio (Israel), Branford Marsalis Quartet (USA), Charlie Hunter Trio (USA), The Brand New Heavies (UK), Yusef Lateef & Belmondo Quintet (USA-France), Nils Landgren (Sweden), Aaron Parks (USA), Jazzanova Live! (Gemany), Trilok Gurtu (India), Zap Mama (Belgium), Jimi Tenor (Finland), Lucky Peterson (USA), John Scofield (USA), Puppini Sisters (UK) etc. also performed. Besides that MOSBRASS often play for people on the streets, boulevards, and in parks during summertime to share the happiness and joy of their music with everyone.
On April 26, 2014, Mosbrass are presenting their debut album «MOSBRASS» and are ready to demonstrate their art and to continue performing for whole the world.
