The intriguing introductory track (Irregular Use) of Code 701’s new EP sets a mellow, calm, yet cryptic tone from the beginning of the EP. This is followed by Mistral, a track that adds a greater sense of urgency to the EP with its inclusion of discernibly acute scares and pulsating basslines. The third and arguably hardest hitting track of the EP (Touch the Universe) is in some ways an amalgamation of the two previous tracks, further heightening the cryptic aura of the opening track with sporadic extraterrestrial overtones in combination with a throbbing bassline. Whilst Fallout Shelter concludes the EP on a distinguishably more atmospheric and melodic note.

The 'Ubiquitous' series starts a new chapter and continues to showcase individual tracks from a selection of handpicked artists. Featuring known and established artists, but also those breaking into the industry.

This EP contains quality cuts from Saurio in Colombia, Pyramidal Decode from Italy, Sejon in Portsmouth UK, and Fresko who is based in Portgual.

01. Saurio - Algerian

Felipe Párraga aka Saurio is an emerging artist from Bogotá, Colombia and who has featured music on labels like Bruno Ledesma's Concepto Hipnotico, Parabola and Hxagram. "Algerian" is a moody and spaced-out track with a haunting depth and hypnotic funk.

02. Pyramidal Decode - Axes

Italian Francesco De Marzo aka Pyramidal Decode returns following a couple of appearances on DEAD CERT. and his last EP that came with a Kirk Degiorgio remix. He has also released on Fernanda Martins' Devotion, Vegim's TMMR, Subsist, and Alleanza. "Axes" is a perfect blend of a strong, yet floaty, modular trip that transports you into the cosmos while remaining firmly grounded on the dance floor.

03. Sejon - Gear

Chris Jones aka Sejon is from Portsmouth, UK and brother to the well-known Operator. His music has also landed on Lewis Fautzi's Faut Section, Etichetta Nera as well as his own newly launched label V1 Records. "Gear" is a stunning, uptempo techno ride with a deep, rolling soul and subtle tribal influence.

04. Fresko - Hypochondria

Francisco Barahona aka Fresko is a fresh artist talent from Portugal, who returns after his recent DEAD CERT. EP and releasing his debut album on HAYES, ran by a collective including Temudo, Nørbak and VIL amongst others. "Hypochondria" is a wild and abstract take on techno that's full of creativity and character using its obscure elements to deliver a unique piece of sound design.

From a very young age I listen to electronic music, in my house it was listened to a lot, my brother recorded radio cassette. 
Then I saw some videos on TV of how djs played at festivals and that was when I started to investigate a little more thanks to the arrival of the internet until I was able to buy my first CDJs and controllers.

UcraniaTechno exists for 9 years, it is an underground cycle that takes place in the southern part of Buenos Aires, where many artists have been able and will continue to play.
We try to give the people of this area a cycle where they can listen to good music, mainly the type of techno they don't like the most. At the moment it works very well. Now we are gradually getting back on the slopes and that has us very motivated.

MLZ(IT) new Ep is named "Travelling High" after the opening track of the release which starts with an intriguing ambience followed by a heavily distorted 303 bass line.
The initiated MLZ(IT) listeners will fall back in the analogue universe of Marco after a few seconds of listening to this new opus. "I feel you" is taking the counterpart of "Travelling High", losing the dramatic atmosphere for something more light & direct.
"Gardarunte" pitch the Bpm up for a twisted ever-evolving modular loop. "Vain" closes the Ep with a ternary beat combined with prophetic lyrics.
