Echelon Records is an independent dance music label founded in April 2008 by artists Tempo Giusto and Ima'gin. The story of the label began when the two founders found it difficult to get their unusual and genre-evading tunes signed elsewhere. They decided to establish their own label as an outlet for their creative sound. The efforts paid off in an encouraging start for the label when the two debut releases were played by Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold, Sean Tyas, and Airbase among others, although no label had showed any interest in signing the same tracks earlier. 

Interest in the label with a different style started growing and soon Echelon was signing several new talents. Echelon's vision of great electronic music is a blend of timeless melodies, dynamic themes, and driving basslines combined with striking percussions - high voltage club progressive, of which some people already speak of as the "Echelon sound". Echelon Records releases top quality dance music, ranging from clubby tech sound to melodic trance and progressive, catering for DJs, clubbers, and other electronic music lovers alike. At Echelon Records we are always in search of fresh original sound - we don't pursue trends but release whatever we consider great music.

Echelon Records has gained a foothold in the dance scene and is a steadily growing label. Our releases have received support from many top names in the dance scene such as Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz, and Above & Beyond to name a few, not to mention a horde of smaller DJs. All the largest digital stores such as Beatport, Audiojelly, Trackitdown, DanceRecords and JunoDownload provide Echelon Record's catalog. Since 2009 Echelon Records also publishes uplifting trance through a sublabel dedicated to it - Echelon White.

Our favourite dentist-musician Tempo Giusto is one of the leading figures of tech trance and club progressive. With over 60 million streams on Spotify alone and over 20 Top10 hits on Beatport, Tempo Giusto has cemented his status as a trance pioneer with unique productions that have earned him an Emma-award nomination for ‘Best electronic dance music artist’. Titled as the new King of Tech Trance on EDMSauce, Tempo Giusto’s tracks are heard by hundreds of thousands of listeners around the world every month on shows like ASOT and Tomorrowland One World.  

In 2022 Tempo Giusto’s music was among Top10 most played trance singles of the year and for many years have been found on Beatport’s best-selling trance artists list. Some of his biggest hits include tracks like Mr. Navigator, The Oasis, The Unicorn Master, Benzin and Choose Your Fate. 

Tipped as one of the emerging talents by Markus Schulz, Tempo Giusto has performed live in an endless list of countries including US, UK, Sweden, Russia, Australia, Netherlands, Finland, Canada, Japan and Slovenia among others. With Armin van Buuren and Bryan Kearney calling themselves big fans, Tempo Giusto has become Finland’s biggest and best-known trance export.
