Shooting star David Kochs delivering an eclectic and wild "202X" drum and synth for SBTH's "204D". Like few others of his generation Kochs manages to use very little to create great effect on the dancefloor. His superb melody writing is once again guaranteeing goosebumps on the dancefloor.

The next chapter of Siamese's Various Artists series reveals some of the club-friendliest tracks that we have played over the last couple of months. All of these were road-tested over and over in different settings and every single one proofed to be effective in its own way. These eight tracks, as different as they come, fit nicely in our sets from beginning to end and show the variety that we play and also present on the label. On the heels of embarking on their new live tour ( https://whomadewho.dk/livetour ), Danish band WhoMadeWho shares their new single, “Children,” out on their newly-founded imprint, The Moment. The track, infused with the angelic timbres of the famed Danish children's choir Vesterbros Ungdomsgård, weaves seamlessly into WhoMadeWho's tapestry of sound, following their early September collaboration with Swiss duo Adriatique, “Miracle,” which was subsequently adorned with a glorious remix by RÜFÜS DU SOL. "Children" not only resonates as the second single from their highly-anticipated 9th studio album, slated for a 2024 release but also marks a pivotal moment in their ever-evolving saga.

Drawing inspiration from the nostalgic grooves of early ‘80s new wave and the psychedelic twirls of early ‘90s acid, “Children” is a confluence of rough-hewn bass, primitive drum machines, an ethereal children’s choir, and lush synth pads. 

“Children” is WhoMadeWho’s ode to their global legion of fans and the pulsating heart of the international dance scene. The track is an auditory canvas depicting kids dancing, reveling under the cosmic dance of sunlight and moonbeams. It probes into the collective psyche, questioning their origins, their identities, and the dreams that fuel their revelry. “Childen” is their anthem, an embodiment of the band’s heartfelt message to their fans: “Thank you, we love you, without you there’s no WhoMadeWho!”

Tempted Audio is an Amsterdam based sound designer and DJ, Martijn Helle, boasts an illustrious 30-year journey through electronic music. In the heart of the '90s, he etched his mark on the fundamental Detroit sound, sharing stages with luminaries such as Jeff Mills, Carl Craig and Claude Young, shaping the future sound on dance floors all around.

With the dawn of the 2000s came a transformative period, as Berlin's minimalist emerged as a new beacon of inspiration. Martijn stood at the forefront of this sonic evolution, absorbing every nuance with keen ears and an open heart. His skills graced the turntables at the world's foremost nightclubs such as the legendary Club Rex and Cafe d'Anvers.

While the professional stage saw less of him in recent years, his passion for selecting, collecting and mixing never dimmed. It's a fire that burns, a testament to his honest devotion. In the intimate sanctuaries of private gatherings and studio sessions, he continued to craft sonic tales, sharing the love that's defined his journey.
The sound is best described as conceptual house and techno with eclectic musical surprises, where each beat, each note, touches the sonic canvas that defies the ordinary.
