The twelve-track opus proved to be a crowning achievement for about : river, a father and son production team who had built their reputation on borderless creations that were not only club-effective, but never failed to tell a compelling story. Now approaching a three-year creative partnership with Sound Avenue, about : river has continued to further their bond with the label across 2023, remixing Jean Caillou's 'There' and most recently Madloch and Subnode's 'Club Del Ocio'; an ode to the uniquely designed Argentinean club. Looking to put a resounding cap on what has been another memorable year for about : river, Sound Avenue invites Rockka, Dunardry and Mars Monero to re-imagine '24 Years' in their own unique essence.

With releases on Crosstown Rebels, Hot Creations and BPitch Control, it's safe to say Venezuelan-originating, Barcelona-based duo Fur Coat are backed by some real key players.

Last year's 'There's No Time' EP on Jamie Jones and Lee Foss' HC was a proper smash, with the title track a certainty to mess with your mind. That followed the 'U Turn' EP on Damian Lazarus' Crosstown, a tasty four-tracker of sizzling grooves.

Soon they make their debut for Balance, mixing the 'Balance presents Fur Coat' compilation featuring cuts by DJ Koze, Francesca Lombardo, Roman Flügel and a couple from themselves.

Martin Eyerer, Ackermann & Lou delivered the excellent 'Equilibrium' back in 2015, which caused fuss for some time, and with this release about to land, the fuss will certainly go further.

Kicking things off is: SIS. Who has well-received releases on Mobilee Records & Crosstown Rebels. Now the Berliner makes his debut on Tenampa with another dose of solid goodness. 

SIS keeps the original hauntingly vocal from Lou, adding rhythm and clever bleeps and clicks. Shuffling along with great smoothness. Tight big bassline, combined with warm layers of subtle melodies, retaining energy and keeping it deep. 

Next up is the excellent sounds of: Raw District (Moon Harbour / Innervisions / Flying Circus). The Belgian duo take matters seriously with a chunky and hypnotic Remix. Retaining the original vocal, but meeting with a new drum and percussive structure, that adds rhythm and depth, whilst retaining a punchy feel throughout. Hot! 

Completing the package is the Sicilian producer: Paul Ursin. Better known for his multiple appearances on Noir Music, Kling Klong, Glasgow Underground and Heinz Music.

Paul delivers a peak-time gem, keeping the original long intro idea, but adding a serious slab of driving goodness. Track builds and intensifies with its walloping bassline, rambling thru a sinister laser synth that adds roughness and oozes quality!

The 'Original Mix' of "Ekata" by Framewerk was a massive hit played throughout the winter. With it's overall summery feel we decided to get in some remixes and give it a new lease of life in the warmer months.
First up on remix duties is Eleven Sins who creates a full on club offering. Here he lets all the elements shine through - a unique percussive bass provides the drive; layers of vocal chants and warm strings add the euphoria.
Opening tracks are not easy to come by but with Kandar's take on Ekata he has provided the perfect set starter (or closer) to any worthwhile progressive house set.
Last but not least, Shunus shows off his production prowess with some superbly crafted percussion. Adding a rich warm bass and clever use of the vocal his mix is not to be missed.
