Tencion makes his return on Manual Deep after his awesome late 2019 single 'Speed of Life'.

The veteran Dutch producer and label owner (he runs Lowend Community) takes you on a six minute deep trip with 'A Love Supreme', a song drenched in quality with it's ever pulsating and pushing rhythms, warm pads and subtle jazzy trumpet samples. In search for timeless heady deep house anyone? This is for you!

TRANSFIGURATION

This is my set from Manchester cathedral 12th Aug 2022, playing before Sasha. it was such an amazing venue to play in, a spectacular building, and a hot sunny day, with light shining through the stained glass windows.

There were so many friends and friendly faces in the crowd, and it filled up really early (my set was 5-8pm), and people seemed in such an amazing mood, it was a real pleasure to play at this gig.

I hope you like my set - I loved playing these tracks - old and new.

“This was my first gig after quite a long break so I’d been stockpiling my favourite tunes from the last few months, and there were so many that I was desperate to try out, things like the Crackazat tracks, Radio Slave, Santos, Maps and so on. It’s always a bit nerve-wracking playing again after having time off (for me anyway), and Buenos Aires is always such an important and special place to me, but once in that room with that amazing crowd, I immediately felt like I hadn’t been away. I have to credit Anhauser for the way they opened the room, leaving me space to start my set as deep as I wanted – it’s such an important role and they set the mood perfectly. It was a five-hour set but honestly, I wish it could have carried on, I was having such an incredible time. And I can’t wait to return.”

Grounded in a robust technical foundation, Andrea earned her degree from Abbey Road Institute in 2018, solidifying her transition to sound engineering.

Her engineering expertise has spanned sessions involving mastering, mixing, and other intricate tasks for the studio's high-profile clientele. He generally launches his productions through his own family of labels Lowendcommunity and Nightworx/NWX which are also known to release music by fellow Dutchmen Taras van de Voorde, Dimi Angélis, Jeroen Search, Stefan Vincent, Sluwe Vos and many others.

Seamlessly weaving between DJ, producer, label head and promoter, TENCION’s relationship with music has always been particularly intense.
His dedication to the cause has been unflinching since his earliest years. He grew up in a free-spirited household, surrounded by music. At the age of 10 he started listening to radio shows on a daily basis and entertained himself by recording his own home-made radio shows using the weird and wonderful albums he found in his parents’ record collection.
Heavily influenced by 80’s bands like Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode and Simple Minds, Tencion’s (Dimitri van Arnhem) endless devotion and relentless love for music have now taken him to a point where he is beginning to shape the musical world around him. 
Through his own family of labels –Lowendcommunity (2010) and Nightworx/NWX (2011) – he launches his own productions and musical tastes upon the scene. His first ever release (as “The Low End Theory” ) called “Waking Up Benirras” (2010) instantly got picked up by Laurent Garnier, who put the track on his PBB online radio show playlist for many months. His most recent works have received praise from artists like Nick Warren, DJ Tennis, Baikal, Patrice Baumel, Guy J, Terry Francis (Fabric, London), Francois K, Lee Burridge, Danny Tenaglia, Dimitri from Amsterdam and Agoria.
