Year: 1986
He is a crime-fighter; he is a time-traveler. He rides a motorcycle; he flies a jet. He is Mythical Vigilante.
With a samurai sword at his back and pistol by his side, the gleam of the setting sun of the past and newly-rising sun of the future beams across his helmet; the very device that allows for him to venture through space and time. As he rides, he picks up psychic messages that spread throughout time; cries of the innocent in desperate need of help.

The Past:
Dr. Trevor Harris - Quantum Physicist and childhood-friend, began working for Centurion Industries out of desperation for funds due to debt. Tasked with inventing a mind-reading device, the doctor’s work involved testing brainwaves and ESP abilities. Then one day, he learnt the possibility of time travel being more than just a dream. 
Centurion Industries soon discovered the creation of the helmet and its extended capabilities: a device that could be quite useful for their own dastardly plans. Harris’s lab was ransacked and the scientist himself held hostage; luckily, he had smuggled the device away from the facilities prior. Refusing to reveal its location, Dr. Harris is tortured and confined within the walls of his lab; forced to reproduce a duplicate. 
Harris secretly implants explosives within the Mark II and during a head-executive presentation, destroys the lab and all within it: including himself. Shielded by a steel door, a man in a suit escapes via helicopter before the entire building engulfs in flames.

The Present:
The roads of time are long and never ending. Mythical Vigilante recalls that before news of his friend’s death hit the media, flashes of visions plagued his mind; visions he could not comprehend. All became clear once he saw the headlines on newspapers and TV sets everywhere. The path had been lit and Mythical knew exactly what had to come next: the search for the helmet.

But that’s a whole other story.

Droid Bishop’s highly anticipated debut on Media Blackout with ‘In Your Love’ Vol.1 features an array of fantastic talent in the form of Tommy’86, Dream Fiend and September 87 who bring us their stunning interpretations of this beautiful classic.

First up is Tommy 86′s who’s mix uses a melodic 80’s synth, stunning vocal and brilliant effects to create a bubbling ambience resulting in a distinct and emotional feel, destined to leave you wanting more and further cementing Tommy’s already great status as a shining star of the scene.

Already a Media Blackout favourite, Dream Fiend’s remix of ‘In Your Love’ effortlessly intertwines classic 80’s chords to create a funky groove that is sprinkled with hypnotic synth stabs and a mesmerising vocal making this a instant club smash whilst remaining faithful to the original.

Finally, September 87’s remix focuses on the melodic side, by cleverly chopping the beats and vocal for the opening part oft he track to create a moody and emotional vibe, which in combination with some swinging drums half way thru establishes so much positive energy that it takes you right to any happening beach house club at sunset in the world, emphasising the vast musical spectrum this release has on offer.

We are pleased to welcome Lerosa to the Slow Motion family. The Dublin based Italian has released eclectic productions on labels such as Ostgut Ton, Uzuri, Millions Of Moments and Vakum Records which encompass all shades of italo, electro and raw, unhinged dance music. For 'Il Nostro Tempo', his debut release on Slow Motion, Lerosa has crafted four tracks of wistful, propulsive dance music. The trance inducing chug of 'Il Nostro Tempo' and the bittersweet synths of 'La Monarca' take up side-a, a pair of contemporary club cuts oozing with emotional melodies and stripped back rhythms. On side-b the the skittish rhythms and wobbly arpeggiator of 'Ninfa' take you through to the early hours. 'Pompeo', perhaps the most emotional of four nostalgically sad club jams works just as effectively tugging your heartstrings on the headphones early in the morning as it does in a smoky club late at night.
