Ais Go’s musical influences and sensibilities reflect his eclectic background. Growing up in Europe, dance music was at the forefront of his musical stimulations. He began making music after moving to New York as a teen, with the sound of the city further adding to his musical palate. A stint in Los Angeles drew him to the vibrant and funky jacking sounds of its underground house scene, influenced by DJs like Marques Wyatt, Mark Farina, Jay-J and Chuck Love. His love for house music is not exclusive, however, and his love for soul, techno, r&b, rock, Britpop, hiphop and other genres shines through in his DJ sets and production work.

Ais began DJing at Street Sounds, the record store on Melrose Avenue that serves as one of the icons in Los Angeles’ house music history. Upon moving back to New York, Ais began working with New York veteran Eman on Liberate Recordings and Chicago’s Doc Link on Modulate Goes Digital. Ais joined Eman in throwing Run Bklyn, a popular monthly house club in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. 

Looking to apply his music writing background to house music, Ais began crafting fresh creations with Eman. Releasing music both individually and as part of the production trio, Brooklyn Hit Squad, featuring Eman and Ozkar Fuller, Ais always aims to deliver productions full of groove, personal emotion and soul that resonate with dancers and music aficionados everywhere.

If there’s anyone who prompts the question “When does he find time to make that?” it’s serial editor and remixer Pete Le Freq. For more than 20 years he’s been reworking disco and funk classics as label boss of Alpaca Edits and Llama Farm Recordings, updating originals with a distinctive dance‑floor edge. His prolific remixes have been played by DJs worldwide — he’s a regular at Beatherder, made his Ring stage debut this summer alongside Utah Saints and Jaegerossa, and is a Mastermix remixer alongside Ben Liebrand, Sgt Slick and DJ S. He’s shared decks with Young Pulse, Michael Gray, Craig Charles, Dr Packer and Jo Whiley, and already has dates booked for 2026. 

Simply put:  he makes what he loves in the headphones come out the big speakers.
