Reaching international listeners on Proton Radio, Digitally Imported, Pure.FM, Tenzi.FM, Dance Paradise, and other radio platforms, Silk Royal Showcase recently reached its 300th episode (http://www.silkroyalshowcase.com) and now often ranks amongst the Top 100 Music Podcasts in the USA on iTunes.

Carefully selected to represent the sound of Silk Royal Showcase radio, the songs included in the compilation range from the more pensive and melancholic shades of progressive to the more club-oriented, peak-hour material we tend to play at the end of our radio show mixes and live sets. Many of the artists are seasoned veterans of the SRS compilation series; there are also numerous first-time contributors to this year's compilation, many of whom have asserted themselves as leading talents in trance & progressive in just the past year. Fuzzy is honoured to release Feel Love by Airdraw, the Argentinian legend of progressive. Allende adeptly remixes the title track, delivering a retro-vibed “home progressive” experience. This EP will poetically caress your heart, and evoke an urge to dance in the rain.

Allende has re-imagined the title track against an ethereal backdrop of ambient synth-work. This contrasts strongly with the warm element of desire he has created with an emphasis on bass and drums. Soft melody takes the stage, punctuated by drums. Elements from the original are tantalisingly teased. Soft vocal whispers as ambience and synth work harmoniously dance. You are in an enchanting daydream. All you feel is love.

Our 12th release on Touchstone Recordings comes from Simon Templar, one half of Finnish production team Winkee of ‘Whisper’ fame. The glorious ‘Meltwater’ comes in two magnificent slabs of brooding progressive big-room Pure Trance. From the intro of Part 1, there’s no mistaking the power and other-worldliness of this double-header; eerie pads provide the opening, and from there on it’s all driving percussion, hypnotic dark melodies and a heads-down, floor-friendly arrangement. Part II takes things darker still, pin-sharp hits & stabs set the scene whilst filtered pads morph & twist around the mix. When the lead progression opens up it’s full throttle all the way.
