Coming in to Spring, the ever increasingly popular US based label, Andhera Records, drops the new EP from San Diego artist New Stereo, whilst bringing in prominent London artist Will Taylor in on the remix.

Up & coming US artist, New Stereo drops his debut release, Acid Desires EP on the Andhera which consists of 2 deep tech originals, Balboa and Acid Desires.

The title track on the EP is Acid Desires, punchy drums combining with rolling percussion set the groove, with the acid lead and whispered vocals of “I Need You” layered over the top delivering a sensual acid led house.

Malikk steps up to Jamie Jones’ Hottrax this February with three bumping tracks on ‘Subway EP’. 

Fresh off the back of his 2020 ‘Heu Como Bailar’ EP for Hot Creations, France’s Malikk steps up to sister label Hottrax with a three crafty house cuts. 

Across the EP, Malikk showcases his ability to create energetic and devastatingly effective house music, his signature style of effected vocal chops and visceral percussion on display throughout. Exemplified on the metallic and propulsive title track, ‘Subway’ weaves its way through a series of restrained breakdowns and club optimised trickery. 

‘Do Dat Dat’ follows suit, with Malikk making full use of classic drum kits, rolling snares, and warbled vocals for a versatile and highly playable piece of dancefloor artillery. ‘Paco’, with its staccato rhythms and visceral low end, wraps up the release for another fine entry in the discographies of both Malikk and Hottrax. 

Malikk ‘Subway EP’ drops on Hottrax on 12th February 2021.
