Øperat, an experimental industrial project born by the Italian duo in 2013. Always passionate about electronic music, they approached the world of live and production right away. Suggesting a completely modular set up. Their sound is characterized by dark environments with dynamic bass lines and rhythms, aggressive and sharp sounds. After several years spent in a studio they had the opportunity to play live shows at one of the main clubs in the area"Hyper" (VI). In which they had several opportunities to perform with international artists. Last year they recorded some DJ sets for Sehnsucht Kollektiv, The Slave, Untreated, Vumantra, M.powerhouse and Brutal Forms.In February 2019 they have their first release in a various artist on Kloster recordings and December 2020 Templer (Area Z). 

Øperat is a strong and solid project in continuous evolution created by two old childhood friends.

Welcome to VOLTAGE.

I am ANNA V. and I’m excited to present you the third podcast for our super exclusive series called esoteric.

Based on creating emotions, this series of podcasts features very unique content created by artists willing to do the extra step and demonstrate their musical diversity.

So for the third episode, I’m happy to present you with Impvsiv. 

Despite her young age, Impvlsiv’s music is very mature and different. Two super important ingredients for us at Voltage. 
This is a deep, immersive set, balancing between hypnotic, experimental and raw techno, a real gem, you rarely get to experience. 

Impvlsiv will be playing with the voltage crew on out opening party at October 7th, that will be held the alternative Quilombo Lab multispace, so you’ll get to listen to her music in person.

IMPVLSIV is the multi-textured techno project of Melina, based in Athens/Greece. After studying music for a decade, electronic music completely took over and during the outbreak of covid she began the craftmanship of music production & djing. 
Her sets are a combination of an oldschool vibe with a twist of raw industrial sound, but never forgetting about the hypnotic element. 
Freshly active on the local techno scene and passionate about experimentation and uniting through partying, she has participated in many gigs at local venues such as Astron Bar, Six Dogs, Temple Athens, Romantso & Β-Side. 
In 2023 she released her first track in “The Pact” VA, alongside with artists like Crystal Geometry, DΛS, Bestial Mouths and many more, as well as her first EP “ATASTHALIES" again on Public Sex Regime from Amsterdam.

Paris-based DJ, Maemm shapes her style by navigating through different atmospheres. Her sets usually focus on hypnotic and raw sounds, sometimes with a hint of psychedelic tones. She also draws inspiration from ambient and more experimental genres, leading her to occasionally slow down the pace and delve into slow, vaporous atmospheres with very downtempo rhythms. Her love for exploring and discovering new sounds keeps her in a constant state of evolution.

IMPVLSIV is the multi-layered electronic project of Melina, based in Athens, Greece. Initially rooted in the pulse of techno, the project has evolved into a refined exploration of electro’s emotional mechanics - a dialogue between machine precision and human vulnerability.

Emerging from introspective quarantine explorations, IMPVLSIV’s sound draws on altered states and the psychedelic layers of perception.

Melina has performed at venues such as Tresor Berlin, Astron, Vondelbunker (Amsterdam), Six Dogs, Temple Athens, The Host SKG, Romantso, and B-Side. In 2025, she joined Anthony Rother and fellow artists from Tiger Weeds and Mechatronica for a landmark Athens performance, an encounter that marked a deeper immersion into the electro world.

Her releases include contributions to The Pact VA (alongside Crystal Geometry, DΛS, and Bestial Mouths), her debut EP ATASTHALIES on Public Sex Regime (Amsterdam), and her second EP Nothing Is Everything, With a Twist (2025). She is also featured on the upcoming Tiger Weeds VA, continuing her exploration of machine music.
