It’s the most spiritual time of the year regarding our beliefs, and this is a mixed set that reflects an incredible journey through component sounds and vibes of our lovely planet, guaranteed to lift your soul up! From classical, oriental and folk tunes, to experimental pop and ambient, to blues and rituals, to soft grooves and poetry, all is enlightening! 

We fell in love with MoM from the first time we listened to one of his mixes, he certainly has the ability to put together selections that follow a different system from what we’re used to in most electronic podcasts. Here’s an expert in beautiful, heterogeneous collections of music, and his ecos del mundo interpretation is no exception, so prepare for a special holiday season ride!

For many centuries, the indigenous people who lived in Mexican territory had shown a profound devotion and respect for the Sun: the most powerful star had a notable influence on the social organization of people at that time.
One of the simplest and earliest of the Sun adoration rituals was, according to the experts, that of the primitive hunters, who offered it the first pieces of meat-torn from the animals that, with great effort, they had captured.

Later, with the development of agriculture and the subsequent unfolding of Mesoamerican civilizations, the Sun's warmth and its veneration became intertwined
with the cult of rain and water.

The Earth, hostile during the dry season, became fertile and prodigious with rain and Sun. That is why great ceremonies were organized on the equinoxes: to celebrate these changes in the Universe.
