When Gary and Jaime invited Dave and I to contribute I know we were both excited. The end result is an extended epic with the four of us creating different but complimentary moods, I feel. Thanks to Jaime and Dave for their unique interpretations and to Gary for his imagination, skill and soundsculpting.

Coming up with some "optimistic music in the age of fear" (as Adam Holzman - former band member of Miles Davis and current keysman of Steven Wilson" - once titled his own original band works):

"Dance the Fear Away"

In particular regard of strange and fearful times for us all around the globe, I couldn't resist to beak my recenctly anounced "break from Soundcloud and music making"... just to create this track.
It's a track of solidarity with the major aim to share optimism and hope while we are forced to keep social distancing and stay at home with burdensome feelings.
Music is and has always been a good catalyst for positivity - and I like to spread positive feelings these days particularly.
Beside some unavoidable moments of "fear" in this one, there's a short quote of Bobby Hebb's "Sunny" - cause every cloud has a silver lining ...

Stay positive, take care of yourself and the people around you and whenever you feel burdened... pause for a moment...
and then "Dance the Fear Away".

Though he's not very good at it, he does notice many techniques are similar to vomiting.

Remembering who I was

thank you for trusting me with your work ... I had a few goes at this .. Initially using the opening flourish in a toccata and fugue mimic .. However it turned out ham fisted and the opposite of what I had imagined ... I awoke at 4 in the morning .. Simplified it and then let the atmosphere and transmissions  around me dictate where it went ... Feel the force Luke etc etc ...  I am merely an antenna .. You did all the work G ....Its turned out nice again G ... R :)
