Celebrating two decades of music, Pets Recordings founders Catz 'n Dogz continue their milestone year with another remix release. Following the captivating rework of 'Open Door' by Jonathan Kaspar, they now hand over another of their original tracks to a trusted friend of the label - Angelos.

Originally released in 2018, 'The Choice' features a gritty, jacking warehouse beat paired with a spoken sermon by New Jersey vocalist Bunty. The track's themes of friendship, trust, and love, are core values that both the duo and their label uphold in 2024. The initial release included stellar remixes from Bawrut, Adriyano, and Beton, but today the track takes a new and exciting direction with a rework by recent Pets inductee, Angelos.

His pounding toms, acid licks, and rolling snares all seamlessly blending with Bunty's remarkable vocal to create a roof-raising crescendo, confirm that Angelos' reimagined version of 'The Choice' is poised to be one of the soundtracks of the summer

KEKURA & Kalyma - U&I (Original Mix)

"Dunes" came together very quickly, and I think it has a raw quality that I really like. It leans on loose grooves and triplets, creating a floating, almost weightless feel. I was also inspired by Middle Eastern instruments like the zurna, which bring a unique, expressive character to the overall sound.
