If you know anything about Cock Rock Disco you probably know about Terminal 11 too. We’ve been proud to release his music regularly since 2005 and we’re doubly proud to share this new material as a split release with Naboa Music! 

Here’s 8 incredible songs full of ultra-complex polyrhythmic explosion-beats like only he can make. Each track is a microcosm of razor sharp fragments sliced into crystalline structures of ever-evolving design – this time with a vaguely Acid feel. 

…And that’s not for nothing, as Terminal 11 seems to have broken the code to making songs that are both funky and complex, scientific yet primal. In fact these songs are equally at home on a dancefloor as they are ripping apart technival speaker cabinets. Single, double, quadruple time – they are all one. Run your finger down this crease and watch it expand into the universe.

Terminal 11 is an amazing breakcore artist—seriously, he’s got records on Phthalo, Cock Rock Disco, and Hymen—who was once the sole audience member at a Clipping show in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was embarrassing, but he’s a nice guy and he agreed to do this remix for us anyway (maybe out of pity).

Their history with the show goes back many years with their first mix back in 1997 and again in 2003, (which can both be heard at SolidSteel.net ), plus their music has been a permanent fixture since they began producing pioneering electronic music in the early 90's. Having been an influence on Love Love during its infancy, Arizona based sonic meddler Terminal 11 is welcomed into the fold and not a moment too soon. Maintaining an overall extra-terrestrial form he explores the limits of FM synthesis, dynamics and poly-rhythms achieving what can only be described as a wholly individual sound. Despite the alien exterior, found within this release is a real humanity that emerges from between the sharp fragments of percussive noise and glistening dissonant melodies. 

Ranging from what could be seen as some of his most accessible material, to some of his most chaotic and free-flowing, Terminal 11 pays attention to the most minute detail with the precision use of acutely polished drum programming and carefully weighted sub frequencies. 

With classic releases under his belt on Cock Rock Disco and Hymen Records, ‘Harmless Chaos’ is a welcome addition to an already diverse and celebrated back catalogue.
